4th PV Assignment – NEWater Visitor Centre

Located at Koh Sek Lim Road is our NEWater Visitor Centre. Upon reaching the Visitor Centre, we proceed to 2nd level for our tour session.

As you will not be able to enter any part of the NEWater visitor centre without any tour, do remember to book the tour before you popped down there.

Tours for the Visitor Centre can now be booked through an online system found here or via telephone at 6546 7874 / 6593 1533. The tour sessions time are as follow:

1	From 09:00 am to 10:30 am
2.	From 10:45 am to 12:15 pm
3.	From 12:30 pm to 02:00 pm
4.	From 02:15 pm to 03:45 pm
5.	From 04:00 pm to 05:30 pm

To start off with our tour, we got a very humorous guide whom we addressed as Uncle Martin to give us a brief introduction. There are virtual guide "Wave" which will direct us each step of the way through the NEWater Visitor Centre. We were educated and entertained by multimedia presentations and hands-on interactive games.   Every step taken at the NEWater Visitor Centre is a multi-sensory learning experience.

I guess the highlight of this tour session is definitely this!!!!  Here, we can hear the sound of running water and see the delightful change of colours in the lights beneath our feet. The kids were so busy lying on top of the platform, snapping  picture, peering at the changing colour lights.

I really benefitted alot from this tour. Before this tour, I know ‘nuts’ about NEWater! I would highly recommended for parents to bring their children to the NEWater Visitor Centre for a visit. It’s free and educational and since school holiday is just around the corner, why not head down to the NEWater Visitor Centre for a new experince! :)
