This blog is a specially dedicated to my 2 little boys. I hope that thru penning down my thoughts and the things we do. When times goes by... I can still look back and remember all the things we have done!
Of course Children’s Day should be a day for the kids to fully enjoy themselves. So what is fun to them??? Of course its none other than able to meet up with their cousin, yummy food, fun stuffs and lots of playing!!!!
We started our day with a train ride to WestMall to meet up with my mum and cousins. Luckily it was quite empty and thus my yakety boys did not attract too much attention from the other commuters.
I did something really meaningful today. ;D (oops, does it means that I am doing unmeaningful things every other days.) :P I had a dumpling making session with my group of “aunty” friends today. :D Well at least that’s what the kids addressed us as …. “AUNTY!!!!” And I couldn’t agree more, I am really getting old.
They are almost half way through their September school holidays. And we certainly are busy over the past few days with play-date and makan date, and today is no exception, where we decided to catch a movie with his buddy.
After discussing and casting of votes by the boys on which movie we are gonna to watch , we have come to the verdict that “Cars 2” wins hands down over “Smurf”, though I would definitely give my vote to “Smurf” at any time if the choice is for me to decide. :P
It was a last minute decision to meet up for a Cook and Makan session at my neighbor's place today. Hastily, deciding to cook 面粉粿 for our lunch today, I started to prepare the dough, while HaiYun aka my neighbor started preparing the soup base and Xiu Yan went marketing to buy the ingredients.
The 3 of us finally managed to whip up the meal for the 8 of us after 1hr plus. It wasn’t a sumptuous meal but I like this simple, light lunch meal, and most of all we had a fun time cooking togather and gossiping at the same time.
Today, we met up with Bing Heng for a library date. As usual, any reason for my boys to get out of the house is good news to them. They were very happy when I told them I am bringing them to the library, and ‘double happy’ when they heard that we will be meeting Bing Heng too. :D
The boys sure have a creative mind, they can even treat this as a playing slide when we were waiting for our bus at the bus stop.

My boys love going over to my neighbor's house to play. Every now and then, they would pester me to let them go over which I rejected them most of the time. Frankly, I am blessed to have very friendly neighbors, they dote on my boys and I do loved chatting with them too.
It’s always very difficult to drag my boys home once they go over! :P
Well… It’s school holiday.. so that means its time for relaxation, school free, rush free, homework free(not exactly), and having lots of play-date!!!
My boys were so excited when I told them that Bing Heng would be joining us for the water play at SSC.
We had another playdate at my place today! Bing Heng mummy cooked dessert for us while Stella mummy bought some nice kueh and I bake a butter cake. I guessed the kids were not very keen to eat, they were more interested to play.
We had a play date at Stella’s place today. It was great to see the kids play togather.
We went Sakae sushi for our lunch, and the kids have another round of fun time mashing the sushi and stuffing it into their mouth. ;P
Since it is school holiday now… it is time to meet up with other kiddies for some great fun. We met up with Stella for a playdate at Northpoint shopping centre. My boys have great fun playing with the ever bubbly Stella.
Since it is a public holiday today, I asked Bing Heng Mummy for a playdate with my boys. Actually we were planning for a trip to Lower Seletar Water play area, but due to the sudden downpour, we went Sembawang Shopping Centre sheltered playground instead.
While Jayden was having his Taekwondo lesson, me and Bing Heng Mummy went to MacDonald for some snack and chit chatting. Recently, Javier has become so buddy with Bing Heng. Throughout the day, he would be asking me “Where is Bing Heng?”, “I want Bing Heng to come to my house”….. non stop asking!!!! Sometimes I am so tired to answer him. :(
Javier was so happy to see him this evening, both of them were so busy running and chasing each other in the MacDonald.
It was a last minute decision to pop by my messy place for a play date. :P I really enjoyed seeing the kids playing together. Lucas is such a demure boy as compared to Javier who is so rough!!!. But nevertheless, the 2 of them play well together. :)
We arranged a playdate for the kids at my place today. It all started well with Javier and Yvette playing together with harmony. But along the way, I don’t know what got into Javier today, he kept taking things to throw at Yvette mummy until at one time the toys hit Yvette. I am so mad at Javier for his bad gesture. (I don’t know whether is it the sudden fever which cause this crankiness but no matter what… I feel so apologetic towards Yvette and Shirley … )
My boys loves going to their 舅舅 house. They have been pestering me to bring them there for quite some time. And since I told them this morning that I will be bringing them there after they come back from school. From the moment I told them till the moment we board the cab to go there, I think they have ask me close to 10x “Are we going to 舅舅 house now?” I am so tired of answering that I just nod my head in response. :)
Since our last playdate with Lucas, my boys have been pestering me to bring them to Lucas house again!!!! They love Lucas and of course the great amount of toys at his place. :) And when Liling told me she is on leave today and ask me for a lunch meetup, I just have to ask her for a playdate at her place today. And also due to we always have so much to talk about when we meet up.
