Kids Canvas Painting

I bought this canvas kit a few months back and forgot all about it. Until I was finding some stuffs in the room and saw this. As I know that Javier really love anything that do with paint and mess, he will sure be happy to know see what I had dug out for him today.

Bento #57 Simple Pizza

We did a simple Bento for snack today. It was really simple and the boys got a chance to make their own simple Pizza Bento. Well, all I did was to prepare the ingredients for them, and the rest was up to them to “play”! ^^

Fun and Mess with Paints

We did some craft after our Maths Learning. He was really looking forward to it as he really do so so so love playing with paints. I think this vegetable stamps really look lovely (abit like rose maybe), these are the scraps which I have gotten from yesterday dinner preparation after I chop off the bottom part of the Xiao Bai Cai.  I couldn’t bear to throw it away and thought it would be nice to use it to do paint stamping art.

Our daily activities

Our daily activities are quite routine. Javier will read his P&J books follow by 四五快读, after which I would read books to him. He likes to do painting and would always dig out his painting barang and ask me to do it with him.

Speed Chaser – Connect-A-Cube

After Javier Speech Therapy, we went over to United Square to do some shopping and to grab some snacks. At first, Javier wanted to go to Popular to get some story book, but turn out that the store is under renovation. Thus we did not managed to get any books. We went to Growing Fun and he was instantly attracted by this Connect-A-Cube toy after seeing the various transportation that was feature on the box.

Javier’s Airplanes

He loves creating stuffs using his lego pieces! Whenever he is free, he would sit in a corner building his vehicles. At the moment, his craze is building airplane, thus he would give me a surprise with his new creation everyday!

A game of Snake and Ladder

It’s been some time since we last play Snake and Ladder game, Javier was bugging us to play it with him, so here we are enjoying the game. Once started, my boys were hooked, playing it day and night~~

Just US

Today we had a great time togather, just the 2 of us. Javier did not attend school today as the school is having excursion for the morning session kiddies today while his excursion to the Zoo will be tomorrow.

We did many activities togather which we both enjoyed alot. :D

As mentioned in my earlier post, Javier love painting, messy stuffs.. the messier the better…. Thus today we decided to get messy!!!! We did some hand paintings, finger paintings and not forgetting brush painting.

Just some work

During his free time, he likes to dig out books and ask me whether he can do it. Currently, we are taking a slow pace for him to learn writing his alphabets. He is much more confident in his writing now. When he is in a pretty good mood, he loves to scribble some letters and show it to me.

Having fun with plastic fruits

It seems fun to Javier as he likes to play with these rubber fruits anytime when it comes into his mind.

Since he is happily playing with it, I decided to do some patterning with him. I was quite surprise he is quite good in it now as compared to the last time we did this. :D Simple activity like this can keep him occupied for close to 45 minutes.

Plants Vs Zombie

I think beside the Angry Bird game, the other popular one has to be Plants Vs Zombie. In fact even Javier love this game! Recently, Jayden loves to draw picture of it, during his free time, he would scribble and scribble lots of plants and zombies….. I think this the 5th drawing he drew for today.

Simple activity with Tees & Marbles

I saw these plastics tees and marbles in Daiso and thought I could do some activities with the boys using it. However after buying it, it just laid in a corner of my study room for a few months until today which I finally put it to better use. :D

A party of their own :D-*

It all started with the goodies bag that Javier brought home. It was not only 1 goodies bag but 3!!!! The boys just couldn’t wait to tear open the bag to see what is inside. After pouring the stuffs on the floor, they were already eyeing on the stuffs that interest them, just waiting for the green light from me. (My condition for eating the tidbits is that they must finish their Bento first. :P )

As you can see from the below pictures, they were enjoying themselves so much with just eating the tidbits and playing with the toys.

Both of them trying their utmost best to blow the balloon with some really funny faces and giggling in between.

Drawing Fruits

Recently, Jayden seems to love drawing fruits. Everyday when he comes back from school or when he is free in the night time, he would be seen drawing fruit trees. Perhaps it is due to the recent learning in his kindergarten on the topic of fruits. Another favourite creature of his now is earthworm.. currently he is a crazy about a book we read on earthworm. It’s a must read book for him every night. And he told me the long thingy in the drawing is the earthworm and it is eating the watermelon. :P (Hmmm….a bit yucky)

Using a Stencil…

Javier likes to dig around my study room for things to experiment with. And it so happen he saw this stencil today and he asked me whether he can use it for his drawing. Of course, I gladly agreed!!!

Under the sea craft time

My boys love doing craft especially this type, where they got to stir, dip, mixed as many colour as they like and getting messy all over the place. In fact they asked me quite often for it which I seldom say ‘yes’ lo. Cos it really get very messy!!!! :P

Although its already 9.30pm when we came back from Jayden Berries Class, but to the boys, the night is still young and we are really in the mood for some craft. So here we are with our stuffs….. ready to do some serious painting and stamping.

We went fishing!!!

This activity is mainly for the revision of the words or numbers that Javier had learnt recently.I printed many fishes from various colour paper and spent some time cutting all of it. :P and Jayden was very helpful to insert the paper clips to all the fishes for me this afternoon. :D

Javier was so excited when he saw the fishing rod with all the fishes and couldn’t wait to start fishing.

He can spell!!!

Of course he can’t really spell yet, but with this Jr Boggle’s help, he can. :D  So he would see the spelling on the picture card and find the letters on the cube to form the word.

My little helper

My boys likes to help me with my chores like collecting the dry clothes from the drying rack and folding it for me. Although sometimes they seems to create more jobs for me. :P But I am glad to see that Javier can fold clothes pretty well now.

 

Dino Puzzle

This used to Jayden’s favourite puzzle when he was younger. Now his interest for puzzle is greatly replaced by other toys such as Ben 10, Power Ranger….

And this puzzle is pass on to Javier who had started appreciating Dino puzzle beside his animals’ puzzle. This box of puzzle consists 4 set of puzzle in it. Behind the puzzle piece, there are different shapes printed on it to differentiate the different set.
