Happy Mother’s Day

Time flies, it’s mother’s day again. Though I doesn’t really celebrate this day, but nevertheless it is sweet to receive little things from my boys.

Here are some of the things which I received from my little one.

CNY House Visit Continue…

More house visit follows; we went to D’s godmother place, my brother place follow by D’s sister place and this end our house visit for today. Since school starts tomorrow, we end our wonderful moment after the Javier’s mini cake caking celebration at D’s sister house and head for home.

Javier make a new friend today with this sweet little girl, Sierra. The both of them will playing so well togather and enjoying themselves so much!
 

大年初二

Today will be another busy day for us, but I think the boys didn’t mind one bit, in fact they are enjoying the New Year so much!!!! Since we are still early, I decided to have my 2 monkeys pose or me. As you can see clearly from the below pictures, their favorite activity at the moment is plucking the pussy willows, I think judging by the speed that they pluck it out each day, soon the plants will be bare!!!!  

大年初一

It was a busy day for us going to various place for house visiting. But I think the boys were definitely having a fun time hopping from places to places; with toys to play and yummy treats which they couldn’t stop stuffing into their mouth. And its wasn’t a surprise to us that they were quite reluctant to go home at the end of the day.

Reunion Dinner with in-laws family

Another 2 round of feasting today whereby one is the reunion dinner with my in-laws family.

Pre New Year Celebration in School

The boys were looking forward to the New Year Celebration in school today, despite that Jayden have to wake up at 6.10am for his school bus. The dress code for today is red, it really add a festive mood to see them dressed like that.

Happy Children’s Day

To all kiddies out there!!!!!

My boys were happy not just because they received alot of pressies from teachers but because children’s day also equal to no school Day. :D

Honestly, the main joy I found today is seeing the kids enjoying so much playing with the sparklers. I got to thank my friend Haiyun for sponsoring the Sparklers.

中秋节快乐 - Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!

 
I still remembered when I was small,  I will ask my parents to buy me candles and lantern on this special day. All the kids were be carrying their paper lantern walking around. The atmosphere is so different from now, I would look forward to this day year after year.  Nowadays, its quite uncommon to see kids walking around holding lantern, instead, it would be the adults holding for them. :P Thus Jayden even told me not to buy one for him. ;{

Instead I see kids playing with sparklers when I brought my kids for some mid autumn gathering with my friends and neighbors  at the playground. (And that includes my boys, who were busy with the sparklers too).

Today which is a special day and no matter where you are ….  在此，我祝大家中秋节快乐!!!!  <:D-*

Lantern Festival Celebration 2011

 
It was an early Lantern Festival Celebration. The boys were thrill and looking forward to it! But the real reason that make them so enthusiastic about it, is they would be able to meet their cousin there and being able to play with them. Thus to them, who cares about lantern Festival when they can play! :D

PaPa’s Day

Although we did not celebrate Father’s Day, but I would still like to wish all Daddy a Happy Father’s Day!!!!! :D And we will be going for a short getaway to Desaru for a 3D2N tomorrow. Yippee….

Belated Mother’s Day Dinner

We had our Mother’s day dinner tonight at Neo Garden Restaurant. Although we did not celebrate it on the actual day, but we enjoyed our dinner there togather. The boys have another 2nd round of playing at my brother’s place after the dinner which they were so looking forward to. :D

My father and Brother family came over to my house today and my boys were so so excited that the girls are coming over. We ordered some pizzas and KFC for our lunch.

大年初三 ---- 吃吃吃！！！！

Finally  today is supposed to be our last day of house visiting. We would like to give ourselves a break from all these visiting since the boys would be starting school on Monday and D starts work on Monday too. 

Today my in-laws invited their relatives to their place for a new year gathering.

大年初二 --- 恭喜恭喜

More house visiting today, frankly I don’t like meeting up with relatives that are not so close. It feels kinda awkward just smiling and nodding at each other with nothing to talk about.

But our first destination today is to my brother’s place again, of course we are looking forward and happy to go. Javier just gotten a scolding by me, thus he was not in the mood to take any pictures. He was holding on to a Elmo stuffed toy, wanting to show it to Glenda who has an Elmo also.

Reunion Dinner at Long Beach East Coast Parkway

We had a very late dinner at 9pm at Long Beach Seafood….of course we were really famished by now. But at least my boys had already taken their dinner, so we were not so anxious as to when the food can be served. We started with luo hei for prosperity and good luck for the coming year!!!!

Well… though this is really an old fashioned way of saying.. but I still have to say it here. :P Today marks the ending of a year and the arrival of a brand new year and most of the Chinese family take this opportunity to get togather to have a meal with our very close family members. :D

I do look forward to this day year after year!!!
