Books that Jayden read – January 2011

A backdated post…. these are the few books that Jayden enjoyed reading and many other books which I couldn’t remember at all.

My boys love books by Eric Carle, I find that the story is simple and the illustration is catchy. Actually it was only a few months ago that they started taking a interest in Eric Carle book. In the past, they would cast the books aside whenever I borrowed it for them.

Books that Jayden read -December

This is a way way overdue post which I had been too lazy to post. These are the books that Jayden had read in December. Recently I had gotten some feedback from his enrichment teacher that Jayden is performing not so well in listening and interpreting story plot. Perhaps from what his teacher suggest, I should read more books to him instead of getting him to read to me (I do read to him, but not as diligently as before…. after he can read quite well).

Books that Jayden Read – August

Reading is not of the things that Jayden really enjoys. He loves us to read storybook to him but when it comes to reading the book himself, he doesn’t show such keenness. Nevertheless, I still hope that my purpose in bringing him to the library and reading books with him (I try to do so daily), he will develop a habit of reading himself. For now he prefer me to read the book with him, which is we takes turn to read (Jayden reads 2 pages, I read 1 page). I find that this way works well for him, he will willingly take one book (almost everyday) and read in the food court with me.

Books that Jayden read - April

In the past, Jayden seldom reads the story books himself, either daddy or me would read it to him. But now, I want him to read the books himself to build up his reading skill and reading habits. In this way, I hope he can be confidence of himself of his reading ability.

Jayden's Book

Jayden likes to read these books by Robin. In the past, he would take the book and ask me to read it to him. Recently, I started to get him to read these books himself. He can read most of words, I will help him with some of the words he is not too sure. I find that the story is interesting and the pictures are so colourful and cute. I guess most kids would like these books.

They are many titles by Robin, I have bought quite a big collection for my boys.

The story is very educational. For example this story teach the children about organic vegetables and how the food we eat comes from.

This is a really classic story which I think most of us have read of. Jayden like this story alot.
