My little boy is sick.

Little boy is down with fever on Sunday night. Actually he was already not feeling well when he went for his swimming lesson. But careless me did not realize it until we came back from our dinner that night. Luckily his fever was not very high, as D is away for his business trip, and having to lug 2 boys to the clinic late at night is quite a challenge when I can’t drive (sob), and most of the clinic is close on Sunday! So after taking his fever medicine, little boy says he wants to sleep already.

I am glad to see that he is much better the next day, but I decided to let him rest at home for one day although his fever has already gone down. Of course, he was super duper happy to stay at home with me! 

I cook a simple porridge lunch for him since his appetite wasn’t too good and I thought something light would be easier for him to stomach.

At the Pool

This isn’t any interesting post, but some pictures which we took at the pool today. Actually my main purpose of bringing the camera with me was to snap pictures of Jayden in his swimming lesson. But today it ended up snapping pictures of us instead, meaning Javier and me.

Javier saw the camera in my bag and start bugging me to let him take pictures. So here it is….

Our little helper

Little boy is always ready to lend a helping hand when it comes to doing chores…. especially when the chores involves ‘playing’ with water. Thus when D told them he is going to car wash… Javier immediately tag after D and volunteer himself. 

Polar Angry Bird Cake

Boy saw this newly launched angry bird cake at Polar puffs and cakes shop and kept bugging me to buy one for him. Initially he wanted to get a bigger one which I rejected as I know that he is only interested in the chocolate chips and and the sugar picture on the top.

Nevertheless, he was very happy with his little blue bird cake.. YES, his favourite colour is blue! :D

Just US

Today we had a great time togather, just the 2 of us. Javier did not attend school today as the school is having excursion for the morning session kiddies today while his excursion to the Zoo will be tomorrow.

We did many activities togather which we both enjoyed alot. :D

As mentioned in my earlier post, Javier love painting, messy stuffs.. the messier the better…. Thus today we decided to get messy!!!! We did some hand paintings, finger paintings and not forgetting brush painting.

It’s school holiday ~ ~

School Holiday means I don’t need to rush the boys in the morning getting for school, no tantrum from Javier screaming that he doesn’t want to go to school in the morning, no spelling, no homework,…  We can even take a leisure walk to MacDonald and have a leisure breakfast. :D It also means they can have play-date with friends and cousins. And that’s precisely what we did today, having a play-date with their cousin at my brother’s place. We are definitely looking forward to more play-date! ~

His New Shoes…

He loves shoes and is rather particular about the shoes he wear. Shoes that he finds uncomfortable or design that he doesn’t like, he would not hesitate to dump it aside and never to wear it again. As mentioned in my earlier post, he loves transportation now. He was squealing with delight when he saw this CARs Shoe and signal for me to come over to take a look too.

My boys’ bedroom

I feel it is time to let my boys especially Jayden to have their own room now instead of cramming with us. Thus we went bed hunting last week at Ikea, and decided on this bed from Ikea, and I like this bed as the upper deck is not too high. After discussing within themselves, it has come to the verdict that Jayden would be sleep on top while Javier sleep below.

The plan was to let them start today and both of them were excited about it. Until an hr ago, Javier came to me saying he doesn’t want to sleep with gorgor and wanted to sleep with me tonight. I was still feeling clueless with his change of mind.. until I touched him, and my gosh, he was burning… Javier is running a rather high fever of 39 degree now. And I feel it would be a wiser choice for him to sleep with me so that I can monitor his temperature in the night.

Anyway, this is their new bed.

 

When a little boy meet a sexy girl….

She was looking so sexy wearing this dress and wearing a super cool sunglasses that Javier looks like he had found his dream girl (oh what about his other girlfriend???). :D

My Addiction…

Well, guess what? Friends or relatives who step into my study room would give me an unbelievable and ‘wow wow’ to me when they see the huge collection of manga aka comics in there. They would said to me “Your hubby loves to read comics!” And when I told them actually it belongs to me, they were quite taken aback. :P Maybe I don’t look like the type that have this hobby of reading comics???? But in fact… I LOVE manga!!!! I have been a manga fan since my secondary school days, deeply influenced by one of my classmate. :P  I still remember my colleagues even bought a series of manga (consisting of 40 over books)  as my farewell gift on my last day of work. :D

To some people, they may think reading comics is childish or uncool… but I certainly doesn’t feel this way. I will still read it on train or bus. :P And I find that by reading comics it helps to release my stress.

My boys likes to help me with my chores like collecting the dry clothes from the drying rack and folding it for me. Although sometimes they seems to create more jobs for me. :P But I am glad to see that Javier can fold clothes pretty well now.

 

Annoying Ants Problem

The ants problem in our house is giving us headache for the past few years and we really couldn’t find any way to solve it. Recently, it has gotten really bad where we find the ants laying eggs inside the cabinet, hot water flask (can you believe it…. they chosen to lay eggs there!!!!), water drainage hole….. It seems to be their fertile period now, once we cleared a nest, they would be busy looking for another place to lay their eggs which we managed to spot quite quickly.

Well, I hope someone would give me a solution to end this ants problem soon! They are really driving me crazy.

My boys are always so ready to help out in my daily chores. I just have to say “who wants to help me?”. The 2 of them would come dashing out ready to do their part. :)

花生根

I get to know about 花生根 from one of Javier’s classmate mummy. The main benefit of drinking this soup is ‘有助长高’. It is not easy to get this in the market, but luckily from what the mummy told, I can find this in the Prime supermarket near my place every Tuesday and Thursday.When I show it to Javier, he was so excited!!! He even wan to pluck the peanut to eat, which of course cannot lo… :P

Javier and his JIE JIE

Javier loves Saturday and really look forward to it every week. You must be wondering why??? Because she can meet up with his cousin Gladys. He adore her, every time when we go out togather, he would sure be asking me “where is yu en jie jie” and when he finally see her, he would follow her everywhere. :)  A vey sweet picture of the 2 of them.

Little monkey in Action

Since Javier did not go to the excursion today, I was thinking of bringing him to the library and follow by shopping at Northpoint or just spend some time in the playground. But the big down pour dashes our plan, so instead we just went to the minimart near our place to buy some vegetables and some snacks for Javier.

Once we reached home, my little monkey went into action~~~ Whether or not there is playground, my boy definitely can self entertain himself at home…. recently he takes a great interest in climbing. Once I turned my back on him, he would be busy climbing the door grille, my kitchen table top or chair to get the things he wants.

Mini Pet Farm

Stepping into my In-Law place, you would most probably be feeling you are in a mini pet farm. You can see a big pond of koi fishes, birds, rooster and now even bats stay in the banana tree which they grow. The reason my boys love going over there is the big space for them to run about and the many pet animals that they can see see look look.

A few days ago, my SIL caught a bat flying near her room and was eager to show it to my boys when they went over yesterday. Indeed my boys were squealing with excitement when they saw it.
