Jayden is pretty good in doing 2 digit addition and subtraction. We did some addition using coins to prepare him for his Primary school life next year.
We also include Javier in our activity, he would put the relevant coins into the outline which I had drawn and tell me the value of the coin. 
Next Jayden would solve the equation for us.
I also gave Jayden some equations like the above, eg: 10 cents + how much would give me 60 cents?
Good practice.. I found that teaching kids like jayden age easier that toddler...when it come to etching lucas, I have to raise white flag..but now he is better. At least will sit down and read story book...
ReplyDeletekeke. true.. have to be more patient when teaching younger kids. sometime when javier not in the mood, he also refuse to participate. so no choice got to keep trying. ~_~
