Homeschooling week 25th & 26th (Part II)

Let’s Learn Maths - We did a few activities to re-inforce on the number recognition.

Activity 1 : Numbers Matching GameJavier is able to count the number of object and relate to the number now. (but sometime he still need some assistance from me)

Activity 2: Counting and TracingThis set was bought many years ago for Jayden to practice his writing.   Javier was able to trace 1-3 without any assistance from me.

Activity 3: Colour by numberFor this activity, Javier need to follow the color key to colour the rainbow. Activity 4: Roll a rainbowRoll the die and place the piece of the puzzle indicated by the number rolled. Javier have a fun time throwing the die and seeing the number on it. :)

Let’s Learn Colour: We did a rainbow matching game which I think is too difficult for Javier and he lose interest pretty fast and was rushing to get over this activity.

Practical Skill - Javier likes doing these activities as he finds it fun, he got good excuses to play with tongs, water.. etc

Activity 1: Transferring of water from one container to another.

Activity 2: Using chopsticks to pick up pom pom. It was not easy initially, but with the encouragement from us, he managed to do very well and picked up alot of pom pom.Javier was so happy when he managed to pick up his 1st pom pom using chopsticks.

Activity 3: Water PouringHe certainly loves activity which involves paint or water. Whenever he sees me takes these barang out, he would scream with delight and happily wait for me to start the activity!

Snack Time - We have a rainbow snack! Javier was squealing and jumping with excitement when he saw me take the mini m&m. It isn’t difficult to see that he is enjoying himself with the colourful choco! He is licking the last few m&m off the bread. ;P
