Jayden 5th Birthday Celebration in school

Finally the day is here… Jayden has been waiting for this day till he almost become a giraffe (wait until neck long already.. :P) Of course the dinosaur design cake was chosen by himself.

When we reached the class, the kids were just queuing up to go washroom for hand washing before their snack time. So we started setting up the cake and all the other barang barang. And of course, Javier was really excited to be here celebrating Jayden’s Birthday. He sat there waiting for the mini celebration to start. :)

Javier taking a picture with the cake.

Jayden and Javier. (you know what Jayden was so excited when he saw us, he was grinning from ear to ear.) Saying prayers before the celebration. When Javier saw all the kids closed their eyes and head bowed saying the prayers, he look so taken aback and keep looking around the class at all the children. He must be thinking ‘what are all these gorgor and jiejie doing huh??’Group picture taking with his classmates .

It is time for singing…..

And finally the cake cutting….The kids enjoying the cake. The cake is nice, soft and spongy (from Prima Deli) …. I guessed it is a hit with them, becos alot of kids have 2 or even 4 helping. While Jayden ate 3 slices!!!! Jayden having his 2nd slice of cake.Whereas for Javier, he was digging and playing with the cake. He only ate some of the cream on the cake.  Milo was served as part of the snack.

I am happy to see that Jayden is mixing so well with his classmate and he is on very good terms with quite a few of them.. and one of them is a girl. :) (surprise… a great surprise to me!!!)

I think the teacher did a really good job, not only in term of academic but also in imparting good practices and behavior in the children. The children are very very well behave, I can see that they are a playful bunch, they yak yak yak to us… but not to the extent of rowdy! They are very polite when they wanted a second helping from us. They would throw their paper plates in the dustbin and put the empty cups back onto the tray themselves (All these are done without the teacher telling them) After finishing their snack, they would sit and wait in one corner, chit chatting amount themselves while waiting for the lesson to start.. (I did not see any kids running about and shouting in the class the whole time I was there.)
