Puteri Harbour Family Theme Park - The little Big Club

Though I was feeling a little bit tired and was thinking just to rush straight home to my beloved bed, I couldn’t bear to disappoint the kids when I had promised them that we would bringing them to visit “THOMAS”! Luckily I am able to steal some sleep in the car while on the way here… Poor D must be feeling exhausted having drove for a few hours.

When we reached Puteri Harbour where the Hello Kitty Town and The Little Big club is located, it was already lunch time, thus we decided to have our meal in the Red Bow Café before we start our PLAY.

Dessert in JB City Square

Really miss the food in Teck Seng Restaurant in JB, thus the traffic Jam at Woodlands checkpoint wasn’t so bad, we made a trip in the afternoon for a satisfying meal at Teck Seng restaurant. After which, we made our way to City Square mall for some shopping, and so the boys got themselves books from Popular (just Fyi, books in JB popular is way cheaper as compared to Singapore popular, thus me and the boys would always pop by at popular when we are at JB), whereas I got myself 2 maternity shorts as my normal shorts are getting very tight and uncomfortable.

I happened to see 许留山 (the very popular dessert house in Hong Kong) Hui Lau Shan, known as famous Fresh Fruit Dessert. I first tried their dessert when I went on a holiday to Hong Kong a few years back and had wanted to try it again. So I was glad when I saw this shop today. Business was good with a short queue outside the shop, thus we brought the boys for some ice cream first, so that they would let us have some quiet moment later while we enjoyed our dessert.

LEGOLand again????? ^^

Yeah you guess right, we are here again, and it was our third time here and what’s more, 2 times in a week. We know this place so well that the boys already know so well which ride they want to zoom to as soon as we reached here. Open-mouthed smile Since we have been here countless of time, I was getting lazy which explains the lack of picture in this post. (Pardon me for me laziness.. oops, I haven’t post my last 2 LEGO Land trips)

Exploring LEGOLAND Part I

We promised the boys we would bring them to LEGOLAND one of these day. And so we are here today… and not only that, one more thing that got the boys real excited…  they would be exploring LEGOLAND  togather with their good buddies. ^^ In order to beat the custom traffic jam, we decided to head off early. The boys were still feeling sleepy and heavy eyes when we dragged them out of their comfy beds.

Our first stop for today is breakfast at Old Town. Personally I really love the authentic food sold there. I ordered a Nasi Lemak for myself, the sambal sotong was real spicy but shiok.

Kota Tinggi Waterfall

After our lunch at Seng Fish Restaurant, we continued our journey to Kota Tinggi Waterfall. It took us about 1hr plus to reach there, I was feeling sleepy after the lunch and thus was busy dozing off inside the car while the boys were busy with their phone games. I only woke up when we reached Kota Tinggi and only a short distance away from the waterfall. Luckily we were able to find the waterfall without losing our way.

While waiting for our turn to get the ticket , me and Javier were busy with our picture taking as well. Personally I really love these 2 pictures of Javier with his really cheeky look.

He loves to give me cheeky look and planting wet kisses on my cheek everyday! :D Sometimes this little boy even told me he wants to marry me when he grows up!!! Ahahah… my sweet boy!!!!

Just for your information, the entrance fees are as below:

Malaysian:

RM7.50 (Adult)
RM3.50 (Children)
RM3.00 (Car/Van Parking Fee)

Non-Malaysian:

RM10.00 (Adult)
RM5.00 (Children)
RM5.00 (Car/Van Parking Fee)

Did I mentioned that kids mood is like the weather, just a while ago, he was happily chattering and the next instant he was giving us a sulky face and doesn’t want to talk to us just because I refuse his request to play the phone games???? But not to worry, he was back to his bubbly self 5 minutes later! ^^

This is what greeted us when we stepped inside the place. The staff claims that the water is not at the tip top condition (water looks murky) due to the rain earlier on.

My impression of this place is that it really lacked maintenance and looks abit rundown - which was a great difference from what I saw more than 10 over years ago.

Seng Steamed Fish Restaurant

While goggling for our Kota Tinggi trip, I chance upon this seafood restaurant - Ah Seng Seafood Restaurant. Reading the rave remarks that many had mentioned, I decided to give it a try today. ^^ We nearly bypassed this restaurant simply because the name that many bloggers had mentioned is Ah Seng Seafood Restaurant. But looking at the signage it’s actually Seng Steam Fish Restaurant.

Ah Seng Seafood, which is an open-air eatery is famous for their reasonably priced variety of dishes. Their specialty is none other than the fish (there are 7 different kinds of fish dishes).

While on our way to our table, I noticed that every table had at least one fish dish if not two. We had Ah Seng’s signature - fried fish with sweet chilli and mayonnaise, because that was Jayden’s favourite and also it simply looks so delicious!!!!

The service is really good and food was  served within 15 minutes, though it was quite packed with diners when we had our lunch there.

The fish was crisp on the outside and the white meaty flesh was soft and tender.

Beside ordering the specialty fish, below are the dishes that landed in our tummy too. :D

Stir fried Nai Bai which is one of my favourite.

Bah Kuh Teh – the meat is quite tender and slipped easily off the bone. Soup refill is allowed. ^^

Beancurd with minced meat

Even Javier couldn’t wait to dig in!!!!!

While Jayden reckon Ice Lemon tea should taste much better??????

The  boys prefer to have their all time favourite Ice Lemon Tea, while D and I decided to settle for their homemade drink barley and Luo Han Guo.

I am sure picture speaks a thousand words. Just look at our happy faces…. We are definitely happy customer after our meal here!!
And what’s more, this meal only cost us RM55 which is really cheap!!!!

Makan and Shopping time!

The last time we cross over to our neighboring country is more than 1 month ago, feeling the itch to venture somewhere near for Jalan Jalan, the best idea that came to our mind is Johor Bahru! :D It was quite a downpour when we are about to make our way out, but that doesn’t damper the boys’ mood one bit.

I got them to smile, pose for me to take some pictures when D went to drive the car from the carpark. Of course, it wasn’t that easy to take these 3 decent pictures!

Teck Seng Restaurant @ JB

It was a nice and affordable dinner we had in Johor Bahru. Business were very good with alot of patronage who are Singaporeans. Luckily we did not have to wait long although the place was quite crowded when we reached there.

Dinner at 竹林

zu01 I have been wanting to do a post on this restaurant quite sometimes back. This is one of the restaurant which I have been patronizing for many years. It serves nice food and the price is very reasonable.

My boys love the fish tank which is full of fishes. They even told me that the fishes love them!! Becos once they touch the tank, all the fishes will come charging at them.

Business isn’t so good now as there is another restaurant beside them now which serves almost the same type of food.

Shop.. eat..shop..eat in JB

It was a last minute decision to go JB, and this time we did not even check the traffic condition before going… And so ended up we were stuck in the very bad traffic jam from Singapore custom to JB custom for about 1hr.

A day in JB Part II – 二重丸 Japanese Restaurant

Our part II continues here… We went 二重丸 Japanese Restaurant for our dinner.  After Xiu Yan told me of this restaurant, I went to search for some information and comments on this place… and reading some food blog that this restaurant is rated as “Die Die Must Try!” dining place in Johor, so it  was inevitable that I must pay them a visit when I step into JB. :P

A day in JB Part I - Yummy Food.. Shiok

It was really a day for eating yummy food. I went JB with Xiu Yan aka Bing Heng Mummy, she really knows where to find good food in JB. Our first stop was to this coffee shop which serves really nice 面粉粿。This is definitely a must try if you come to JB!!!!! I am already starting to miss it this morning. :PThis is the coffee shop, business is very good here!

We are on our way to JB City Square….

Instead of nuah-ing at home since we did not have any place in mind to go, we decided to head to our nearby neighbour-Johor Bahru for some shopping and lunch. Although there are so many choices for restaurant to choose from, my boys prefer MacDonald to anything else. So off we hopped there for our lunch.

After our lunch, we went to popular to get some stuffs, Javier was busy choosing the books that he wants, but slowly and ultimately rejected by me lah. So in the end, he got himself a Animal puzzle which he loves it to bit!!!!

D told me there is puppet show at the atrium, and without hesitation, we brought the boys down to level 1 to watch it, as I am sure they would enjoyed it alot! And true enough, both of them are so engrossed in the show.

Fun and Sushi!!!

Seems like we are travelling across the causeway quite often for these few weeks. :P I like to bring the kids to JB Jusco as there is a indoor playground in the shopping itself. Me and D would take turns looking after the kids while we take turns to shop around.

We have our dinner at Sushi King before we bring the kids to the playground. The food was not fantastic but anyway we managed to filled up our stomach with all the sushi!

We went JB again!

Yes, we went JB again…. but this time with my 2 little monkeys. Actually my main purpose is to go to the City Square Popular to get a series of Chinese story books. (Arrrgg… I realize that I miss one book…book 8!!!!) This set of books uses the same technique as Peter and Jane book to teach Chinese. Thus I was planning to use it to teach Javier Chinese. I also managed to get a step by step drawing book to teach the boys how to draw animals (This book was a hit with them!)
