Our short break in Port Dickson Avillion

It was a last minute decision to drive to Port Dickson for the school holiday break. Due to some reason, our initial planned trip to Bangkok was cancelled and so as to not disappoint the kids, we decided to bring them to Port Dickson Avillion instead.

We finally reached there after a 3hrs plus car ride, the 3 of us were busy dozing off in the car and leaving poor Daddy driving and navigating the way himself. Since it was still some time before we can check in, we decided to drive to PD town for a quick lunch before hopping back to Avillion to start our exploring.

Kota Tinggi Waterfall

After our lunch at Seng Fish Restaurant, we continued our journey to Kota Tinggi Waterfall. It took us about 1hr plus to reach there, I was feeling sleepy after the lunch and thus was busy dozing off inside the car while the boys were busy with their phone games. I only woke up when we reached Kota Tinggi and only a short distance away from the waterfall. Luckily we were able to find the waterfall without losing our way.

While waiting for our turn to get the ticket , me and Javier were busy with our picture taking as well. Personally I really love these 2 pictures of Javier with his really cheeky look.

He loves to give me cheeky look and planting wet kisses on my cheek everyday! :D Sometimes this little boy even told me he wants to marry me when he grows up!!! Ahahah… my sweet boy!!!!

Just for your information, the entrance fees are as below:

Malaysian:

RM7.50 (Adult)
RM3.50 (Children)
RM3.00 (Car/Van Parking Fee)

Non-Malaysian:

RM10.00 (Adult)
RM5.00 (Children)
RM5.00 (Car/Van Parking Fee)

Did I mentioned that kids mood is like the weather, just a while ago, he was happily chattering and the next instant he was giving us a sulky face and doesn’t want to talk to us just because I refuse his request to play the phone games???? But not to worry, he was back to his bubbly self 5 minutes later! ^^

This is what greeted us when we stepped inside the place. The staff claims that the water is not at the tip top condition (water looks murky) due to the rain earlier on.

My impression of this place is that it really lacked maintenance and looks abit rundown - which was a great difference from what I saw more than 10 over years ago.

Aussie Trip–Day 06

Oh my…. this post is so backdated that I can remember clearly most of the details. Confused smile Nevertheless, I would just let the pictures do the talking. .^^

Today we would be going to some place special…. And we are hopping down to Lilydale for a farm stay. I am so excited with my first ever farmstay.

We reached there bright and early. The scenery was great and the air was so fresh.

Aussie Trip–Day 05

(Mummy recalling 28 November 2011)

After venturing to the beach and admiring the spectacular view of Gold Coast at the SkyPoint Observatory, we decided to head to the SeaWorld today. But miraculously, we are ready real fast today, and since we are a tad too early for SeaWorld, we decided to bring the boys to the nearby playground for some fun first.

Looking at the grouchy expression, you can guess it was a super hot day today again!

Aussie Trip–Day 4 (Part II)

It was just a 5 minute drive from Skypoint Observation Deck to Surfer Paradise Beach, the boys were practically jumping for joy when we reached there and couldn’t wait to change into their swimsuit. Despite the hot weather, it doesn’t stop the beach-goer from coming here and we could see many sun-tanning, swimming…

Aussie Trip–Day 4 Part I

(Mummy recalling 27 November 2011)

We decided to take things easy today after the teeny bit hectic schedule for the past few days. Since today is is Saturday, we decided to make Carrara Market as our first destination. (just for your info, Carrara market is open only on Saturday and Sunday)

It was a scorching hot day and the boys were complaining of the heat, thus after walking a while, we decided to spilt up, and Jayden decided to tag along me. Though there weren’t a great many selection of goods sold here, but I pick quite some really good bargain here. Open-mouthed smile

As the heat were really unbearable, we left this place for Australia Fair shopping mall for some shopping and air-con. And after our lunch, D was super nice to look after the boys and left me hopping off myself to do some shopping.

Aussie Trip–Day 3 Part II

After our farmyard trip, we decided to hop over to the Movie World again to catch up on some rides and shows that we had missed out during our earlier trip.

When we arrived, we were just in time to catch the Hollywood Stunt drive show. And boy, it was a really entertaining show which got our (even the boys)100% attention!

Aussie Trip–Day 3 Part I

(Mummy recalling …. 26 November 2011)

Today we decided to take a break from theme park and visit a farmyard instead which is the Paradise Country farm which house the native animals like Koala, Kangaroo, camels, horse, sheep….

Well, I did mentioned that it was a super duper hot day yesterday, yeh… But today is extra super duper duper hot hot day!!!! {Sweat…..}

Since we are already ready to dash to our destination, while waiting for the rest to be ready, I snip snip snap snap with Javier. He is in a very good mood dressed in his favourite Thomas clothes which explains the beautiful smile he gave the camera.

Aussie Trip – Day 2 Part II

Continuing from earlier…. Jayden decided to go for a little bit more exciting ride with D which is none other than the Kite Flyer ride. Personally I don’t really like this ride as it really make me real giddy! :(

Aussie Trip – Day 2 Part I

(Mummy recalling ….. 25 November 2011)

We woke up bright and early today and of course well charged for our full day activities ahead.. well in fact the boys woke up earlier than me. :D

Aussie Trip – Here we Come!!!!!

Yeah ^^, we are back from our Brisbane and Sunshine Coast Trip!!! Happy and fun time seems to pass by ever so quickly, and we are back to our normal routine again.

(Before my short memory fails me again, I would like to recap our trip here. :D )

We have been looking forward to this trip and Javier has been bugging me for months since the day he knew of this trip… “are we going YET”????? So of course my boys were ecstatic and couldn’t wait to set off to the airport today.

Aussie Trip–Day 07

The boys woke up bright and early, mainly because they were looking forward to animal feeding and egg picking. Thus when we got ready and reached there, it was still early! ^^ So we walked around taking some pictures while we wait.

Some of the activities that we did here were collect eggs, feed the baby animals, milk a cow, pony riding and last but not least going for a tractor ride around the farm.

We went for our simple traditional buffet at the coffee house before we start our day.

Short Getaway to Desaru! – Day 1

It was an impromtu decision to go for to Desaru. Actually after reading about this place from a blog, I was thinking it might be fun and a nice place to bring my boys to for a short recharge on one of these day before the school reopen. However the bad causeway jam was making me having second thoughts. It was until D says “let’s book the resort and go” on Sunday, which make us go ahead for this trip.  Thus…we only booked the accommodation a day before the trip, and quite luckily, we were able to book a room for us. And so off we go for our trip on Monday.

It only took us 1.5hr to reach Desaru using the E22 Senai/Desaru expressway. :D

Road Trip to Genting and Cameron Day 5 (Last Day)

Today is the last day of our trip, after our breakfast we would be on our way back to Singapore… and it is going to be a very long journey of 8hrs.

Road Trip to Genting and Cameron Day 4 (Part II)

Getting a bit lazy recently to update my blog. But told myself to update about the trip in case I totally forgot all about it. :P

Having had a steamboat dinner the night before, we decided to try the che zar tonight instead. After researching the trip advisor and food blog, I get to know this popular makan place which serves good food. When we reached there, it was already very crowded, so I guessed the food should be nice.

Road Trip to Genting and Cameron Day 4 (Butterfly Garden)

This is our last sight visiting before we went back to hotel for the boys to rest. We are really glad we chosen this Butterfly farm as my boys were ecstatic when we reached this place. As you know they were really into bugs, so of course they can’t wait to interact with “them”!.

Road Trip to Genting and Cameron Day 4 (BOH Tea Plantation)

After visiting the strawberry Farm, we drive on to the BOH Tea Plantation at Sungei Palas. The drive there was not easy as the road is very narrow with only one lane which means vehicles going to and fro shares the same lane. It was so damn scary as we cannot see the oncoming vehicles approaching!

Road Trip to Genting and Cameron Day 4 (Strawberry Farm)

Firstly we started off with a late morning breakfast as my boys woke up very later at 9.40am. Secondly, Javier was sick, he started vomiting at 4am. which results in both of us did not really sleep well from then on. He keep waking up to vomit while I just cannot sleep seeing him so unwell. Luckily Javier was not cranky although he don’t feel well, he just want us to carry him which D took up this role for most of today.

We still went ahead with our sight seeing although I drop off a few sight attractions as I don’t want to overload Javier and wanted him to go back to rest. After discussing with D, we decided to go strawberry Farm, Boh Tea Plantation and Butterfly Farm.Javier with his pacifier, 2 pillow cases and his dolphin soft toy.
