It was a last minute decision to drive to Port Dickson for the school holiday break. Due to some reason, our initial planned trip to Bangkok was cancelled and so as to not disappoint the kids, we decided to bring them to Port Dickson Avillion instead.
We finally reached there after a 3hrs plus car ride, the 3 of us were busy dozing off in the car and leaving poor Daddy driving and navigating the way himself. Since it was still some time before we can check in, we decided to drive to PD town for a quick lunch before hopping back to Avillion to start our exploring.
Perhaps, it has been a really long time since I last use my camera to take pictures of them, Javier was so keen for me to take pictures of him. He even pose and requested him to take pictures of him. He used to hate taking pictures. ^^
We pass by the Pet Farm but the feeding time is long over, thus my boys gotta wait for the next feeding which is the morning. Nevertheless, they were just happily enjoying just standing looking at the animals.
What interest Jayden most is none other than these roosters and chicken.
After unpacking our things and taking a short rest, the boys were raring to go for some water dipping.
They started off in this medium pool …
… before proceeding to the children pool with the slide. Javier simply love this slide and had a fun time zooming down countless of time!!!! ^^ I still remember during the 1st time we were here, he doesn’t dare to play on this slide, and just one try he decided that he doesn’t like it.
There were really lots of free roaming peacocks here. Everywhere we go, we seems to be bumping into some. And it was such a common sight to see them opening up and displaying their beautiful feathers. And they were not shy to show it at all… when they sense us approaching, they will just turn towards us and let us has a really good look at it.
This was taken near our room when we were on our way back to change into dry clothes.
Enjoying our welcome drink before we set off to Port Dickson town for our dinner. Jayden love this drink so much, that he was eyeing at ours when he finished his own. Thus I decided to offer my remaining half glass to him and Javier’s (he doesn’t like it at all) one to him.
Since we weren’t sure which eatery has good comments since I do zero research for this trip. Thus we just drove around and decided on this restaurant – Restoran Bee Hoo.
My favourite among all these dishes.
This dish is so-so, the meat is abit too tough.
This is yummy too – Jayden’s favourite.
The fried chicken is a hit with D and Javier.
The food is yummy and the price is real cheap. I would definitely recommend this place. I like the food so much that we were back again the next afternoon for our lunch. Ahaha… ^^
After our dinner, we headed back the Avillion. We were all tired from waking up so early today and its time to recharge for another exciting day tomorrow.
More post of our next day activities coming up soon. ^^ That’s all for our Day 1!!
