A week have passed since his Released Tongue Tied Surgery. He is coping and recovering well from it, beside telling me that he feels painful on the first 2 days of the surgery, he hasn’t feel any discomfort from then on.
Some noticeable differences which we have observed recently are, he talk much more than before, basically he is yakking non-stop every day.
Secondly, he can chew food faster which means that he can finish his meal quicker. And he seems to be much more mischievous than before….
Overall, there weren’t any problem with taking care of him during this period. But he doesn’t really dare to stick out his tongue prior to today. It was after much encouragement by me that he started to tried sticking out and after that it was no stopping him. He was even happily sticking out for me to take pictures of him.
The next step for him is going for his Speech Therapy. He needs to go through the speech therapy to see improvement in his speech. His tongue tied condition has prevented certain sounds when he speaks and he now needs to relearn how to use his tongue and how to speak correctly.
His tongue isn’t heart shape now when he stick out!
He recovers so well cannot see any scar!! But it is in his mouth anyways haha!! Without camera n photographe, this incident might be forgotten. When he older he can show off once he he has a love shaped tongue!!
