Tokyo Here we come!!!!

We woke up very early today for our morning flight at 9.30am. I was still feeling feeling kinda sleepy when we reached the airport….. Just a pose of us before we board the plane.

Moshi Moshi!!!

I’m right now in Tokyo, but my 2 boys are not here with me…The weather is quite cold, but still bearable at night. And do stay tune, I will upload loads of pictures of my trip when I get back next week! Winking smile

Homeschooling Week 31st and 32nd

This is a long overdue post on our “Good Night Gorilla'” Lapbook activity. The reason I did this lapbook with Javier is that he loves this book so much. Although this is a simple story with few words, but it has great room for discussion.

Homeschooling Week 34th

Since it is Lunar New Year now, I would like to do some simple Lunar New Year related activities with him. I got the idea of this activity from this site.

Javier’s 1st School Excursion 2011

excursion

Javier would be going for his 1st school excursion today to “The Vision Care Hub”. Earlier when I asked him whether he is looking forward to it, he was still whining and said he wants mummy to go also! :( So I explained to him that only little children and teachers can go for this excursion, he seems to accept my explanation and went to the bedroom to drink his milk.

The objective of this visit is to reach out to the community to increase awareness and promote primary eye-care as an important aspect of primary health care, where the children would be educated on the importance of exercising personal responsibility in maintaining good eye-health, including going for regular eye examinations.

I think it would be quite difficult to get him to wake up so early in the morning at 6.45am, since he normally wake up at 10am. Let’s hope he would be cooperative and excited enough to not fuss when I wake him and change him in a few hours time.
