Short Getaway to Port Dickson & Malacca Day 01

We are back!!! Although it is meant to be a relaxing trip, but we still feel tired having to lug 2 kids along. Kids are really temperamental, one moment they can be laughing happily, the next moment they are throwing their tempers and crying and sometimes worst still, want us to carry them!!!!! Neverthelss we have 4 days of fun fun fun... with lots of sand, water, animals and yummy food!!!!!!

After driving for 3hrs plus, with abit of wrong way here and there... we managed to reach our destination... AVILLION RESORT. The resort is really very nice, looks very much like the photos I saw in their website. Luckily when we reached there, the crowd have not started yet so we managed to check in our room after half an hour. :) But no bellboy to help us to take our luggage to our room... we have to lug the luggages and 2 monkeys ourselves. But at least we have some nice scenary to look at while we walk to our room!
Finally walking for quite a distance, we reached our room. I guess all the walking is worth it when we saw our room...Wowwww... the room is so nice!!!!! My 2 little monkeys can't wait to dash inside to begin their exploring.

The bathroom is huge, it is almost the size of a bedroom, with a open area shower, a bathtub (which my 2 boys enjoy soaking in). And when you shower at the open area, you can even looked down to see the waves splashing.
Of course, the boys are famished are the long drive here. So they took some snacks before we start our exploring outside.
Ahem... after all the resting and charging, we are ready to go out. But first we need to fill our stomach first lah as it is almost noon. Time for lunch!!!!

We just drove our car and look for eatery along the way. But I find that most of the seafood restaurant is closed at noontime, so we settled for their kopitiam at the road side. At least it looks clean and quite alot of people eating there. So the food shouldn't be too bad.

We have our spicy nasi Lemak and Mee while my boys have the home-cooked porridge. The food is not fantastic but still acceptable.
After our lunch, we stop by some shops to buy some beach tools for my boys. Javier chose the digging set while Jayden got the water gun. And off we are on our way back to our resort.
This is the traditional Malay footwash for the guest to wash the feets. But for my boys, seeing these water means "water playtime". They keep splashing water at each other until they are drenched.

It's time to hit the beach....so we went back to our room to change into our swimsuit. And even in the room, the 2 monkeys never failed to have fun on their own, and this time is jumping on the bed.

Gear in our swimsuit and our barang barang, we are Off to the Beach!!!!!!
My boy having a taste at the salty seawater, he swallow it and give me a yucky expression.
Me and Javier make the sand animals on the sand while Jayden and Daddy played with the water gun in the water.
I find that the water is not very clean, abit of murky colour. But I still find that it is ok for the kids to play in it, at least it is not to the extreme that alot of garbage got washed up to the shore.
Spending close to 1hr plus at the beach, and the heat is getting unbearable, we are like barbecue "PORK" under the scroching hot sun. We decided to head back to our room for the boys' nap.

When the boys woke up from the nap, it's time to go for our dinner. But Javier prefer to "Nuah" at the foldable chair at the balcony for his snacks before we set off for our dinner.
On our way to the carpark, we passed by this "Bullock Cart". It is used as a mode of transportation from one village to another in the olden days. My curious boys quickly climbed on top of the cart to "touch this touch that".
We decided to have our dinner at "SEA VIEW RESTAURANT" which is situated near the sea. If we sit at the table by the window, we would be able to look out at the sea.
The food taste "OK" but my boys doesn't think so .. They hate the food to the extent that Jayden prefer to eat WHITE RICE ONLY!!!! :( Whereas for Javier, after abit of coaxing, he managed to eat a small bowl of rice with the soup and the egg.

We went back to our resort after our dinner, since it is still early at 8plus. We brought the kids to the Kids Cabin for some toy activity.
We left the kids cabin at 9.30pm to our room. Cos we need the kids to rest early to recharge for the long day tomorrow!!! But easier say than done, they were so excited that they keep running round the room and only get to sleep at 11plus. :(
