Doing Puzzles

Since Jayden was around 2 years old, he has a keen interest in doing puzzle. He can keep doing puzzle for almost 1 hour if Javier never disturb him. Whenever he saw a puzzle, he would ask me to buy for him. I like to buy him puzzle, because he can keep playing it again and again. I tried to let Javier do some puzzle, but he is not very keen. He prefer to throw it about and hide the pieces in Jayden school bag.

Today after i bring him to see doctor, we went to sun plaza Library. He saw this puzzle at Japan Home and ask me to buy for him. The puzzle is cheap and the quality is not bad.

After he wake up from his afternoon nap, the first thing he do is to ask me to open up the puzzle for him to do and he completed the 3 puzzles himself without asking any help from me.

Playtime 18.01.10

Normally during playtime, I would ask the boys to choose only 1 types of toys to play. If they want to change toys, they gotta keep the toys they are playing first. By doing this, I hope to help them cultivate the habit of keeping their own toys after each playtime.

Today they decided to play with their lego... its seems quite long ago that they last play with it. Cos for the past half year, Jayden is deeply addicted to his BEN 10 toys. I feel that Lego is a very good toys for kids. It is safe and durable to play with. It can be built based on one's imagination, it helps to develope the creativity of a child. For younger kids, it would help them to improve their hand coordination and finger grasping skill.

After the lego, Javier wanted to play with some sorter. I like this shape sorter, whenever you drop the shapes into the hole, they is a sound and lights. This is one of the reason why Javier like to play with it alot.

I really liked to see the boys playing togather and helping each other. Jayden is a very good boy today, he keep all the toys himself. Javier was throwing his tantrum and wouldn't help him.

Fixing Puzzle...

My little boy does not have much patient in doing any puzzle, so i was rather suprise when he bring this box of puzzle to me. I ask him is it that you want mummy to do it with you, he says 'yes'. Actually I bought this box of puzzle for Jayden, as it is still too difficult for Javier at this moment.

I think it is quite good. It requires the kids to think about what is missing from the picture, then they got to find the missing parts.

I explained to Javier what is missing from the picture and pass him the missing pcs to join togather.
He will clap and shout 'yeah' when he managed to join 2 pieces togather.

Playing the the pooh Cooking set

Little greedy Javier not only like to eat.. He like to cook also. He like playing witht this pooh cooking set. He enjoyed playing with it since he was 1 year old.

He can play this toy for close to half and hour himself, after a while he start to get bored playing himself. So he went to look for Jayden gorgor to play with him. But Jayden busy watching his show, not interested to play with him.

Javier is so funny, keep asking me to say '生气'... Once I say it, he will keep laughing non-stop.

Daily Activities

Normally after our dinner, I would play some toys or read some books to the boys, follow by doing some revision book with Jayden.

The Zoo Shape Sorter (One of Javier favourite toys), I am not sure why Javier like to play with all sorts of shape sorters toys. We bought a few different ones for him since he like it so much.

He is rather good in recognising the different shape, he can name a few shapes like circle, square, triangle....

Today I read this book" Brown Bear Brown Bear What do you see?" to the boys. Both of them like the story alot, especially Jayden.

Cut... Cut...Cut

This set of cutting toy have been collecting dust in the storeroom for close to one year. It is a pass down toy from Jayden. Jayden used to really enjoy playing with this cutting set until he start throwing the pcs about, that was what make me keep away the toys. Only today, this toy come to my mind and I decided to let Javier play with it.

Initially when I sat down to play with him, he enjoyed it very much. But once I left him to play himself, while I went to cook for dinner. He began his mischief again. He hide the individual pcs all over the house. He even put some pcs inside Jayden school bag... While looking for the missing pcs, smoke nearly come out of my head liao. So in the end, I keep away the toys. I will only let him play with it when I am around.

My 2 little Monkey!!!!

My 2 little monkey getting ready for school. Seeing them in their uniforms really make me realise that time seems to be zooming by so fast. In a blink, they have grown from a little baby to such a big boys.

I bought this really cute sunglasses in Hong Kong for Jayden. However.... Jayden was not the least bit interested in it. Instead Javier keep wearing it and now it have become Javier possession....
