Term One Excursion

The excursion for this term is A Trip to Health Promotion Board. Program consists of 1Health Education Session on topic “Bright Smiles Strong Bones”. This term, the school decided to combine the outing for the morning and afternoon Session, thus Parents volunteer are needed for this trip. Initially I had wanted to PV, but on second thought, I couldn’t do so as no one will look after Jayden.

Perhaps this wasn’t a really exciting trip for Javier, thus he never mention anything to me when I picked him up. I did notice that my boys seems to make a lot of friends in school. From Nursery all the way to K2… he really mixed well in school! Open-mouthed smile Quite puzzling how he got to know those kids in K2?

Ended up I decided to pick Javier from his school and bring him out after the excursion. We went Northpoint for food and shopping, and I ask my mum along too. We had a great time!

Javier’s Term 4 Excursion - To the Zoo

This is the day that he has been looking forward to since the day he brought back his consent letter for me. :D He wouldn’t miss it for anything since he get to go to his favourite place with his buddies. But he sure doesn’t look like that when ‘that’ morning arrives. He is one grumpy boy when I drag him out of his slumberland and give him his milk. He drank his milk fast and went back to sleep again!!!! :P

Javier’s Term 2 Excursion – Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden

This picture was taken early in the morning with Javier all gear up for his excursion. He was already getting all his stuffs ready the night before…. deciding which school bag and cap to bring. :D

For the excursion this time round, Javier is going to “Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden” with his kindy. This is a place that provide play and exploration in the garden where children learn about plants, nature and their living environment.

Although we had brought him there for 2 times, he doesn’t have any idea of this place when we talk to him about his up-coming excursion. But I know he would enjoy this trip alot, as he would be going there with his group of friends.

Jayden’s Education Trip To…..

image

For a Marine Experience for the K2 kids. Jayden was so excited and looking forward to it… that he kept reminding us to wake him up early on the day of his excursion! :D

The programs for this visit is

  • Discover the Hunting Habits of Sea creatures
  • Exhibits of Poisonous Fish
  • Exploring Sea-Shore Habitat
  • At the Touch pool

He benefitted much from this trip, and couldn’t wait to share with me the things he learnt there today when I came home. :) Just that he was complaining to me why he is unable to go for LongKang Fishing and only the Nursery Kids are able to. :P

1st Educational Tour for Year 2010

Jayden has his 1st Educational Tour to “The Singapore Philatelic Museum”  on Thursday.

The Theme for this excursion is “Meet Mr Postman”.

Do you know what happens when you drop your letters into the posting box? What is the sequence of mail? Who is responsible for the collection and delivery of mail? Find out at the 'Meet Mr Postman' pre-school programme.
    Highlights:
  • Children meet Mr Postman
  • Accompany Mr Postman to collect mail, cancel stamps and sort the mail
  • Join Mr Postman and 'travel' on a scooter to deliver the mail!
He was so looking forward to trip because this is the 1st time he is going to an excursion with his classmate. Actually he was feeling unwell for the past few days, so I was contemplating whether to let him go for this excursion. But seeing that he seems more energetic and back to his “naughty” self on Wednesday, I am quite sure he would be fit enough to go for the trip.

He need to woke up very early for the trip as his school bus will pick him up at 7.10am. He was in such a good mood when D woke him and did not fuss one bit. I prepare some snacks for him to bring there. (But after he came back from the trip, he told me the teacher doesn’t allow him to eat the snack I prepared for him. He got to eat the one prepared by the school. :(   ) It must be a fun trip for him, as he was so excited to talk about it when I chat with him. I keep hearing him saying “Mr Postman did this, Mr Postman did that, Mr Postman has an umbrella in case it rains!” keke… I hope the school will organize more excursion in future!!! :) as Jayden simply loves it!
