What greeted my boys when we stepped into the park is this water fountain! Javier was looking at me and giving me the look asking me whether he could play with the water. Since I have brought extra clothing, I gave him the ‘go ahead’ sign. And from then there is no stopping him … :(
He was literally dashing in and out of the water and getting himself drenched, and definitely not merely playing with water.
While Gor gor decided to be the onlooker and only poke at the water and giving it a gentle steps
occasionally.
Continuing our walk, they saw this pond with some tiny fishes in it and started to splash and poke the water with sticks that they managed to find.
The weather was quite good, though I was still feeling that its a tad too hot for me.
Taking a group picture is always a challenge as the boys were forever making funny faces and trying to cover themselves as much as possible.
At least this look pretty decent.
This is zig-zag bridge.
While we decided to take a short rest in this pavilion, the boys were thinking else wise and continue chasing each other to pass their time.
The boys were happily looking forward to the submerged boardwalk walking, but luck wasn’t with us today. Nevertheless we decided to continue our 2nd part of our journey, to the ‘Land of Monkey’, Nah.. I was just joking, but the trekking trail sure have a a great many monkeys.
Ah.. the first monkey we met. It was a first experience for my boys to be so near roaming monkeys. Luckily, they were a tame bunch and doesn’t attack people, but they tend to be curious when they saw people holding bags. There was once where one monkey tried to go near D attempting to snatch the brown carrier from him. But all in all, we have a eye opening and fun time looking for monkeys. :D
Javier took this picture of us.
We told the boys to be very quiet else the monkeys would catch them and the boys took our words VERY seriously indeed. ;P
Some monkeys we saw along the way.
And not forgetting a water break after a tiring walk.
Feeling famished, we decided to have some snacks at the Mushroom cafe before we make our way home.
Of course, the little boy was so hungry, and when food arrived, he was busy devouring his chicken wing.
While waiting for D to drive his car over, the boys spotted this and quickly charged to it without any hesitation.
And they were pretty good in their climbing and was at the peak in no time. :D
It started to drizzle just as D drove over and we quickly make our escape from the shower into the comfort of the car.
