Before the school holiday came to an end, we brought them to the Jurong Bird Park for some bird watching. Its been quite long since we brought them out since Joelle came along. As she is much older now and we feel it is much easier to bring her out for longer period instead of rushing her back home for nap. Usually she will nap when I carry her in the baby carrier when she is tired. In fact she love the carrier much more than the stroller.
The sky was a tad gloomy when we set out, and at one point of time I was worried that it would rain. But luckily the weather was quite good to us today, it was neither too hot or did it rain. Phew…
Of course we decided to feed our famished tummy before we set off for our exploring. I had the Nasi Byrani for my lunch, it was really not that fantastic but it did filled up my tummy. ^^
While we eat our food, Joelle nom on her tissue wrapper, at least it managed to keep her occupied for quite a while.
Her Outfit from BabyGap, love the bow detail on the back of the romper.
We are off to the bird watching!!!!
We started off wit the penguin enclosure which is also one of my boys favorite “birds” among the lot.
Photo bombed by Javier which was looking grouchy and refuse to take the picture with us, of course you can see that Joelle was deeply attracted by the dirt on the ground!
Its off to bird feeding. It took patient to wait for the birds to fly over to eat our food but the wait is totally worth it. While we were busy feeding the birds, Joelle was busy yawning away, feeling bored as she wasn’t able to participate in the bird feeding. This is the place which the boys have been looking forward to since we step into the bird park. Of course they couldn’t wait to dash inside and start their water fun. Well you would have thought that she enjoyed the water a lot! But in actual fact, she was scared of the cold water and kept clinging to me for dear life. ^^
They loved the water splashing down on them!!!One thing I noticed ever since they start learning swimming, they have overcome their fear of water. In the past, they hated water splashing onto their head… well not the mild type like the above but those gigantic pail of water type as you can see further down the post.
Yup, this is the one which I am referring to….Last time, they will run far far away to hide from this but now they enjoyed it so much and would go for it over and over again.
We popped by the breeding place before we end our trip here. It was a great learning experience here, we now know more about the breeding process of the birds.
Lastly, to the penguins enclosure one last time before we bid farewell to the birds!!!!!
We had a great time today and we would be back again when Joelle is able to better appreciate the birds watching!!! ^^
