It was a pretty hot day and its definitely a good idea to visit the River Safari, I mean as compared to the zoo or bird park, it’s a much cooler place to visit. Frankly I’m do not really like to roam the place under the hot hot sun!!!
We tried to reach their bright and early but we did not really succeeded lah. But we did reached their before 12 noon.
The grumpy girl was too happy being strapped in the stroller, in fact she hates the stroller and car seat but the animals did keep her occupied for a good 30 minutes before she hint to us to get her out of the stroller.
So into the carrier she goes as its near to her nap time and she was busy yawning away.
So Javier decided to make full use of the stroller and studying the map at the same time.
The baby crocodile is so cute, seen floating….as if waiting for us to snap picture of it.
Our top of the list animal to see today is none other than Kai Kai and Jia Jia as you can guess. In fact not only us but most of the visitors is looking forward to see them. The panda exhibit is the most packed place among all, as all of us were pushing and squeezing to get a good spot to take pictures of the panda. And we do need a bit of luck too.
We started with the red panda but they were busy sleeping.
Guess who lives here?????Tada

Its Kai Kai
He was so busy walking here and there for us to snap pictures. Thus I managed to get pretty good shots of him munching leaves, parading!!!!
On the other hand, Jia Jia was very shy. She was hiding in a corner and would only let us admire her back.
We were really famished by the time we finished with the panda and decided to have our late lunch at the Panda Panda Kitchen.
The food was ok, nothing to shout about, portion was small but price was expensive (to be expected, rite!)
And I think this panda bun is a must eat snack. It is so so cute!!!!! Kids would surely love it! ^^
As you can see, Javier was gobbling the panda bun in record speed.
We took a short break here after our lunch
We took a river safari cruise before we end our trip here. A relaxing ride which I got to see and feel horse’s poo and mane. ^^
Just me and Joelle, but as usual, she wasn’t very cooperative and prefer to look elsewhere. LOL!!!
Some of the animals we saw while on the way out.
A giant otter swimming on top of us!!!!
A cool snack to end our trip.
It was a pretty fun trip for us, but Joelle is still a tad too young to really appreciate the animals here. Will definitely be bringing her here again when she is a bit older.
