As promised the boys last week, we brought them to the zoo today. It was a really cooling day today, however the sky was a little gloomy. Luckily it did not rain, and this cooling weather did make us trip much more enjoyable.
As usual, we start off with the walk along this wooden bridge to see the crocodile underneath at the water. But we did not see any today.
Jayden has started taking an interest in posing for me to take pictures of him. Looking at the time, we were just in time for the Rainforest show….
After the rainforest show, we quickly make our way to the next show, the Splash Safari show which Javier is looking forward to. But halfway through the show, he was fussing and screaming for us to leave. However we still managed to finish the whole show after coaxing Javier.
While watching the show, the boys ate the Bento which I prepared for them. Actually Javier did not eat much but Jayden like it very much.

Our tummy is rumbling from hunger, so we quickly make our way to the KFC at Kidzplay for our lunch. But before that, they boys wanted to see see look look at the toys at the gift shop.
Lunch time was also war time with Javier today. I don’t know why he is so moody today!!! He don’t want to eat, don’t want to watch show and keep shouting at us. Even Daddy was feeling fedup with him today. I think I tried more than 5 times feeding him, before he finally willing to eat the whipped potato.
Again, he showed his moody self at the water play. Jayden was having a ball of a time at the slide and splashing of water.
We tried getting Javier into the water for almost 30mins before he agreed to take a little dip.

Many a time, Jayden wanted to hold Javier hand to bring him into the water, but was rejected by Javier. :(
Finally I brought him to this water play area where he started to warm up and played by himself instead of clinging to me.
We ended our trip at 2pm, as the sky was starting to get dark and rain is predicted to fall soon. Indeed when we are on our way home, it started to drizzle. Phew…it was a very emotional and physically tiring day for us. Every time when I came back from the zoo, I would feel very very tired.( I think I am getting old… :(
