A not so afternoon at West Coast Park

Normally after we send Jayden to his class on Saturday, our favourite hang out place would be either West Coast Plaza or West Coast Park MacDonald. Since we had not been to West Coast Park for quite a long time, we decided to go there today. As usual, it is very very difficult to get Javier to sit for 1hr plus at MacDonald, thus I decided to bring him to the playground for some running!  And he readily agreed to it without any hesitation and so did D since he can enjoy some peaceful time in Mac drinking his coke and reading his notes. :D

Although he is very happy to be here, but without Jayden to play and fight with him, he seems to lose his normal zest as he played.

He refused to walk on the rope, claiming that it is very scary!

Here he goes… he is forever so happy when it comes to zooming down the slide.

He decided to give a kick and the flying sand landed on me. :(

We were lucky and he was very excited to see a squirrel. He was the one who spotted it and he told me “Mummy, there is an insect over there!” :} and thus I told him, its not an insect, its a squirrel!

Later, he decided to do some digging to find insects or ants… one of his favourite pastime. I’m not joking about this hobby.. my boys love bugs!

On board the fire engine and pretending to be a fireman.

This is the musical corner.

He was quite daring to climb up by himself. Initially he was just standing there waving at me, in a blink of an eye, he decided to do some swinging up there which give me a scare.

This is a fun place for kids but provided the weather is cooling. It is only a small section of the huge playground that we roam. We will be back soon and of course with Jayden and definitely in the evening.  :D
