This is a long overdue post which I had no time to update. So here’s a quick update on what we did for our Bird Theme learning. Beside the activity listed here, we also did a Learning parts of birds here.
Language
We read a poem on bird and I also printed the word cards for some of the words in the poem. 
It begins with…..
We did a activity for the initial consonants. Javier is good in this.
Maths
We did a few activity from.. puzzle, counting and sorting.
Joining the puzzle by looking at the number.
Count the leaves, and use the clothes peg to clip on the answer. 
Sorting small, medium and Large
On another fine day, Javier wanted to do this activity again.. in facts he love this counting activity. He ask for a black marker to circle his answers.
Science
What can we see in the sky?
3-part card. Javier hate this activity! :(
Matching the different birds. At least he is determine to finish matching all before running away.

Arts
We did a Bird Painting, using card board, potato. 
As this Art session progress, the messiness gets out of control as Javier was doing his free art all over the place!!!!
Books We read
We read quite a few birds related bird for the Month of May. I like these 2 books which introduced alot of different birds and information about it.
