Few days ago, I received Javier’s report book from Edelweiss Kindergarten. It certainly look pro, very much like the report book during my primary school days. There is also a CD attached which has some photos of Javier during his class lesson, celebration and school outing.
Basically his assessment is break down into the following category:
1) Environment Awareness – He is progressing well in this section.
2) Motor Skill Development – He is progressing well in this section
3) Self & Social Awareness – He is progressing well in this section, but doesn’t really display affection and sympathy towards others.
4) Numeracy – He needs improvement in counting up using fingers. (as what the teacher observed), arranging objects in size; big and small (but from what I observed, he can do this at home), demonstrate understanding of relative position/ opposite.
5) English Language and Literacy – He is fine for this section.
6) Aesthetics and Creative Expression – He is fine for this section.
7) Self helped Skill – He is progressing well also ( He certainly doesn’t show that he is ok with this section at home pertaining to self feed)
8) Chinese Language and Literacy – He is fine for this section only.
I’m glad that that he is progressing well in the kindy and also make some friends. The teachers also comment that he is a very cheerful boy who is keen to learn.
Oh my goodness! Repot book for pres school!,,
ReplyDelete:D I was abit taken aback when I saw the 'formal' report book too. Cos Jayden's Kindy doesn't have it, but only a simple progress card.
