Language:

Can recognize a fair number of sight and phonetic words like; pat, water, fun, come, it, look, fish, no, here, is, dog, cat, mat, rat like, jam, yam, ball, tree, three, has, more, less, car, claw, ….

can read word by blending eg: c-at, s-am……

Able to recognize some Chinese words, like; 小，大，子, 一。 I did not really test him on the words he knows, so I am also not too sure what other words he can recognize.

Can recognize the Chinese words; 红，紫，蓝，黄，橙 和 青 from our previous home learning. (But not sure he still remember it or not.)

Able to read the readers brought back from school without missing a word. :D

Maths:

Can recognize up to 30

Can do simple addition

Knows what is more and less

Knows what is opposite

skip counting by 2s

Can read time by hour.

Enjoy doing the hundred chart activity. ability to rote count is improving.

Self-helped:

He can take off and put on his own shoes and socks

He can button and unbutton his shirts

He can remove and put on his clothing himself

He can comb hair (although sometimes it looks no difference)

He can self –feed himself when he is in a extra good mood (which is very very rare)

Geography:

Can recognise a number of flags; China, Japan, Korea, India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Thailand, United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Greece, Denmark, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Cuba, Cote D’Ivoire, Congo, Kenya, South Africa and Singapore.

General Knowledge:

Knows part of car

Knows part of tree

Knows part of bird

Sports:

He is good in riding bicycle, and enjoys riding skate scooter.

He is so good in jumping, and like to practice this skill at home, jumping down from the dining table… jump from coffee table to sofa, climb up the window grille and jump down from up there…..

Science

Knows what is the difference between sink and float… cold and hot

Others:

He is good in puzzle and enjoys all sort of puzzle, especially animals theme.

Can spell his own name

Can use scissor to cut very well.

Love doing art

Favourite activity:

Zooming around the house in his kiddy car, riding the bicycle in the park, fixing puzzles, doing crafts and also getting me to read story books to him.
