Just some activities on a boring day

Since we did not go out, and in order to keep the boys busy (especially Javier; he loves to do all sort of activities, especially painting and craft, if not he would be up to his mischief if he gets too free.); I did quite a few activities with the boys.

We did size sorting of their soft toys from smallest to biggest. (learn thru play), the boys love it!!!!!:D

And eventually, Jayden decided to show Javier that he is the biggest among all! :(
Learning Spatial Concept (such as: in, on, under, over, in front, behind, top and bottom)

We used the toy goat and the trains for this learning. Eg: I would say: “please put the train on top of the goat.”. And Javier would do so.Later, we decided to make it interesting, and get Javier to put the train on his body instead; on top of his stomach, under him….. And I would say that he is quite good in his spatial concept.

Stacking mini fruits
This mini fruits which I bought from popular is really worth it. We have been using it to do all sort of activities for our learning recently.
He was patiently stacking the fruits again and again. (Among the fruits, he only love the mushroom and banana and he hate the strawberries. :(   )

Patten Sequencing
Javier is quite weak in this, so I would try to do this activity with him whenever possible. I got to make it really simple, or he wouldn’t want to do it, so we did the ABAB pattern.
After that he decided to use the markers to do some stamping on the paper. At least that kept him occupied while I do some housework.
