I was really pissed off with a ‘PERSON’ today.. although it is Friday, but what he said really dampened my mood.
It goes like this:
PERSON: Can you take the documents to ask Prof XX to sign after he has finished his meeting at FXX.
Me: No problem.
After hanging the call, I continue to write up some emails and wanted to send it out before I leave. And quite unfortunately, I lost track of time (and I assume PERSON would let me know if he is on the way to meet Prof. XX, because Prof. XX said that he would call PERSON after he had finished his meeting at FXX to meet him at caffe express). And at 5.55pm, just about I was packing my things and about to set off to look for Prof. XX (as I promised PERSON that I would try to get Prof. XX to sign the documents by today) to sign the documents. PERSON call me again.
PERSON: Have you checked whether Prof. XX is at caffe express and taken the documents for him sign.
Me: I haven’t, I thought you would give me a call.
PERSON: {Upon hearing me say ‘NO’, he got agitated! He began lecturing me and label me as ‘unprofessional’. } How could you not do what you promised!!!! You said that you would try your best to get Prof. XX to sign the documents by today, but you did not DO IT!!!! You are very UNPROFFESSIONAL!!!!!
Me: {I was so angry hearing him say this, I just kept quiet} I did not want to explain that I was about to be on my way to look for Prof. XX
PERSON: {he asked me again} Why did you never try to find Prof. XX?
Me: {I kept quiet}
PERSON: {He said it again!!!!} You are really UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!
PERSON: {Very loudly} SEE YOU ON MONDAY!
And in conclusion, I did do what I promised PERSON, I got Prof. XX signature on all the documents before I left!!!!!! I feel so Unjustified to be label as ‘unprofessional” by PERSON.
Haiyo so kiasee!? AND SO RUDE and you still can tahan. I will just scold him to SHUT UP! Haha u are working or doing it FOC?
ReplyDeleteFOC still keep scolding u UNPROFESSIONAL, wth! U good leh, haha still can keep ur cool and then STILL DO IT! I think if me, I will slam the phone when he says the word irresponsible, haha then go home sleep!
Alot of pple are just defensive, and want to vent their frustration and anger and conveniently push the real responsibilities to others. Reminds me of the cruel working life!

ReplyDeleteee: He's damn rude!!!!! As he was bubbling the 'nonsense' to me, I was boiling inside!!! This is only a temp job, luckily I don't need to work with this kind of boss for long!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBeing the 'professional' staff, I still come to work today to try to finish off my stuffs before I bid SAYONARA to the idiot!!!!(See.... I am still so angry even though a few days had pass since the incident.....

He is just a plain 'idiot' to me who doesn't give a damn to people's feeling at all!!!!!! :(
