I am always filled with excitement on this day where most of the residents gathered at the void deck to chit chat and the kids get to play together. It is one of the rare occasion that I can see so many kids gathered together. :)
This year is no exception that we bring the boys downstairs to join in the fun. It seems like the ‘in’ thing now is no longer carrying the lantern.. but playing with sparkler! All over the places, I can see many group of kids playing with it. Of course, my boys love playing with the sparkler, or should I say only Jayden dares to play with it. :PJayden was lighting up the sparkler one after another! and truly enjoying himself. The sparkler was not only a pleasant sight to watch as it lights up but a “pop” sound that accompany the lighting up really give it a festive atmosphere as we can hear ‘ popping’ sound all around us!Javier was scared of the sparkler, he was trying to move away from it when D place one near him. :(He prefer riding his bike… and getting far far away from us!) Candles can also been seen every where….but I did not let my boys play with candles. This is Javier’s sponge bob lantern, he prefer to take his sponge bob for a ride and just going elsewhere where there’s is no sparklers!!Jayden was having so much fun, partly because he were playing my neighbor's 2 boys and they were having so much fun playing together. This is WeiJun who is the same age as Jayden. The both of them seems like the best of friends!!!!!They took turn giving each other a ride, but alas Jayden seem bo lag…. the bike was moving like snail when Jayden rode it… ;P
We spent 2 hours downstairs before the boys were willing to come home. After they came back, Jayden still went to my neighbor's house for another round of toy playing before we forced him to go home, because it was already 10plus!
Hahaha nowadays so different from our time huh. In our days the neighbour kids is being release everyday till dinner time huh! hahaha~
