Homeschooling Letter C

Today is our first lesson on letter C. We have a short and fun lesson.

Tracing Letter C
I started with introducing Letter C to Javier, next I guide him how to write by holding his hand
At this young age, it is still too early for him to write the letters. So most of the time he is just scribbling on the paper which is also a good hand muscle exercise for him.
Our 'C'
A wooly Cotton C
Since we are on letter C, I was thinking of letter Javier paste the cotton wool on the C which I have drawn.
Javier like playing with cotton wool, he keep pulling a whole lot of it and paste it on the paper.
Chicken Craft
I print the chicken craft from here.
Our completed chicken.

Example of animals that start with C
Javier like this activity alot. He kept playing with the figurine and the huge garfield.
'C' for Colour
First, I added food colouring into the water and teach Javier about colour.
I also let Javier use the springe to transfer the water from one bowl to another. By doing this, it can also help him in his fine motor skills and concentration. It take some practices for him to gaspe the technique of pulling the springe to take up water and pressing the springe to release the water.
StoryTime
We end our lesson by reading this book ' The incredible cake'.
