Singapore Art Museum

Since this week is the International Museum Week, we decided to bring the kids to visit at least 1 museum. Actually I have plan to bring them to other museum as well, but that have to wait till their school holidays. I read in the website about this 'Art garden' which is at the Singapore Art Musem, and it sounds like a fun place to bring the kids to. So after Jayden Icreative class on saturday, we hopped off to our destination.
I told Jayden to stand in front of the signage, but he prefer to hide behind it.
This is the huge giant rabbit name Walter who welcomes us when we are about to enter the museum.
We start off our adventure in the Walter's Garden, which is a creative playground where young children can learn about colours, shapes. My boys have a fun time here throwing the grass-liked cushion at each other.
A rare picture taken with Javier, as they will running all over the place, it is so difficult to get them to take pictures.

The next stop is the "Enchanted Forest". Inside this forest, we get to meet alot of my boys favourite animals. Javier was running over all the 'forest' to give the animals a pat. The drawing of the forest and the animals looked so real, Javier got frightened by a drawing of a snake on the floor and thought it is a real one.

After so much running, It is time to take a break. The boys did some colouring activity and looking at some of the artwork done by other children. However, my little Javier was unable to sit still to do his colouring for long. Soo he started to wonder elsewhere to do his exploring leaving mummy to finish up the work for him. :(
These are the artwork done by the kids from various kindergarten. I though it was very nice, and looking at these crafts give me alot of ideas for my craftwork which I can do with my boys.

There is some felt animals for the child to match to the drawing as well. Javier likes playing with these felt animals.
Our next stop is the Funky Forest and Daisies, and daddy show the boys how their movements will make streams 'flow' and trees 'grow'.

Daisies Blooming- It was simply spetacular to see the digital daisies blooming.
Javier was really fascinated with this chocolate bar and the bugs surrounding it. I think he is wondering how good if he could have a bite on the chocolate. There was a few display of this chocolate and bugs. And Javier just went round and admiring them.
We also saw this Floribots, an awardwinning work featuring over 100 giant robot flowers. Jayden was not interested at all, he keep asking us to leave.
It was a really fun trip for us, Jayden was quite relunctant to leave, he even ask us to bring him there again!!!! I can't wait to bring my kids to explore the other museum!!!!
