Cars 2

They are almost half way through their September school holidays. And we certainly are busy over the past few days with play-date and makan date, and today is no exception, where we decided to catch a movie with his buddy.

After discussing and casting of votes by the boys on which movie we are gonna to watch , we have come to the verdict that “Cars 2” wins hands down over “Smurf”, though I would definitely give my vote to “Smurf” at any time if the choice is for me to decide. :P

The story is about Star race car Lightning McQueen and his best friend, the incomparable tow truck Mater, jump start a new adventure to exotic lands.

The duo are joined by a hometown pit crew from Radiator Springs when they head overseas for the first-ever World Grand Prix, a race to determine the world’s fastest car.  But the road to the championship is filled with plenty of potholes, detours and bombshells when Mater is mistakenly ensnared in an intriguing escapade of his own: international espionage.

Mater finds himself torn between assisting Lightning McQueen in the high-profile race and towing the line in a top-secret mission orchestrated by master British super spy Finn McMissile and the stunning rookie field spy Holley Shiftwell.

Mater’s action-packed journey leads him on an explosive chase through the streets of Japan, Italy, France and England, trailed by his friends and watched by the whole world. The fast-paced fun includes a colourful new cast of cars, boats, trains and airplanes— complete with menacing villains and international racing competitors.

These are the 2 characters that caught my attention in this show, rather than Lightning McQueen.

We bought our tickets before going for our early lunch. We managed to catch the promotion for “Moms ‘N’ Tots” where little one get free movie admission with every ticket purchased by an accompanying adult.

Javier was in a super good mood and wanted to sit with all the big brothers and self feed.

My boy busy with the taekwondo stunts, I guess he is trying to burn off the calorie after having his lunch. :}

While this little one brought his Hippo along to watch the movie.

Popcorns in hand, we are ready for the CARS!!!!!

Well, the show is not too bad, at least it is quite entertaining and hilarious at time, but one of my little monkey fell asleep halfway through the show but nevertheless, he was still eagerly telling D that he watch the CAR movie today, of course leaving the ‘dozing off’ part out.  :P I’m sure you can guess who is that “little monkey”. ;D

To fill our rumbling tummy after the show, we charged to Mos Burger for a light snack…

A group picture of the boys with so many different expression.

After dilly-dallying for quite a long moment, we finally make our way home. But the boys certainly doesn’t hope to end the fun time here. Thus they decided to have round 2 of their play at the playground near our place. :(
