Botanic Garden 02.04.10

Its Good Friday!!!! Which means it is a public holiday. Since daddy is not working today, we decided to bring the kids to Botanic Garden. The night before we told the kids we are bringing them to Botanic Garden to see the swan. They were so excited and keep asking us questions non-stop. Until we gotta to threaten them that if they don't close their eyes and sleep now, we won't be bringing them to the botanic garden tomorrow.

My boys really wake up bright and early the next morning ready to go to the park. We set off for Botanic Garden at 9.30. Luckily the weather was quite good, and MR SUN was really kind to us, not very hot either!!!

Me being the camera man was busy clicking here and there, and not forgetting to ask daddy and the kids to pose for me lah.
What a great pose!!! :)
Some nice flowers that we seen on our walk to the Swan lake.
Yippppeeee.... After a short walk, we reached the swan lake.
I really like this statute. I think it really tells a good story of a mummy playing happily with her child. I can really feel the love of the mummy towards her child.
Beside Swan, we also saw alot of turtle swimming in the water. We bought a big loaf of bread to feed the swan. But alas... the swans were not interested in the bread at all, they prefer to eat vegetables. So next time, we know what to bring liao lah..
My kids totally engrossed in watching the swan.

After watching the swan for a while, we proceed with our journey. We saw this lily pond with lot of fishes in it. Of course, we stop here for quite sometime as my boys like looking at fish also.
Javier looking at the lilypads and fishes.
A short distance from the lilypond, there is a big vast of field for the kids to run about. I think next time we can bring ball for the boys to play here. Alot of family gathered here to kick ball, cycling and blowing bubbles.
Javier examining the leaf which he found.
Javier dashing all over the field.
The boys picked up some sticks and began playing with it.
Jayden enjoying his "fight" with daddy.
Jayden likes "pink", so when I saw this pink flowers, I asked whether he wants to take picture with the flowers or not. Of course his answer is 'YES" lor. :)
We were on our way to the carpark, and saw this grassland. It has very very fine grass, so I asked my boys to take off their shoes and feel the softness of the grass. Nevertheless, my boys wasted no time and run about on the grass.
Javier playing with the water in the pond.

The boys examining the statue make out from tree root, I personally don't like it, but my boys seem fascinated with it.
Little Javier have 2 falls today at the Botanic Garden. Thus he was not very willing to walk today, he keep asking us to carry him. Luckily he din cry much when he fell down, but I can see that it is really painful!
After our walk at the Botanic Garden, we hehad to Bt Timah Plaza for our lunch. We have a really yummy meal at Wishbone Restaurant. Even my very fussy boys commented that the food is nice. :)

Our food consisting of Fried chicken set, chicken rice and pan fried fish and chips.
After our lunch, we shopped a while at the NTUC finest for some grocery. We went back home for the kids to rest, actually mummy is also very tired. So mummy also take a nap with the boys lor. ;)
