Blk 928 Yishun Laksa

After our farm tour, the boys wanted to eat at MacDonald while we wanted Laksa! Thus we brought them to “M” to fill their tummy first before we set off for our yummy laksa.

You must be wondering why I wanted to write a post solely for this Laksa.  This Laksa stall which I am going to mentioned is featured frequently on TV (food shows), magazines and websites. It is a a rather popular place to eat Laksa (at least it is consider one of the best Laksa in the North). This laksa stall is commonly known as the '928 Yishun Laksa', because the stall is situated at a little corner of Blk 928.

The laksa comes at $2.50 or $3.00. And for your info… this stall just sell Laksa.

There was a long queue when we reached there and the queue doesn’t seems to end.

If you wanted it more spicy, you can add the sambal chilli paste too. Shiok!! I like my food sour and spicy. ^^

Its generous portions of ingredients that consists of fish cakes, crab sticks, dried toufu, beansprouts and hard boiled eggs of course there is hum too but I requested mine with no hum!

The down side was that the place is not air conditioned and has limited seats which I didn’t mind at all.

Just my personal comment, I find the Laksa so-so only, but I do agree that the portion of ingredients is very generous. I did wonder if my taste bud is not functioning properly that day. Even D commented that it is nice and judging from the long queue that never end, the Laksa should be quite good, rite? Maybe I should give it another try!

While they will busy finding bugs, we have also finished our meal. It is a good place to have our simple and quick meal, we got to enjoy our food while the boys got a spacious compound to run freely.

    2. By reputation?? Haha think nowadays even if the laksa standard drop, maybe it's still better than some random stalls? It's hard to find good laksa stall! Plus nowadays pple dun really 'KNOW' how to eat :p

    3. I think the Laksa is still pretty "ok", but not those 'die die must eat one' lor. And really not worth the time to travel all the way to Yishun just to eat it unless you stay nearby. ;P
