Aussie Trip–Day 3 Part I

(Mummy recalling …. 26 November 2011)

Today we decided to take a break from theme park and visit a farmyard instead which is the Paradise Country farm which house the native animals like Koala, Kangaroo, camels, horse, sheep….

Well, I did mentioned that it was a super duper hot day yesterday, yeh… But today is extra super duper duper hot hot day!!!! {Sweat…..}

Since we are already ready to dash to our destination, while waiting for the rest to be ready, I snip snip snap snap with Javier. He is in a very good mood dressed in his favourite Thomas clothes which explains the beautiful smile he gave the camera.

The boys do have a camera of their own which D got recently. Thus Javier decided to take it with him to snap the animals.

There we are at the entrance of the Paradise Country farm, luckily we have our hats and umbrella with us to give us some shade.

Does this look familiar?

The animals we saw…

Over here is the Nursery where baby animals can be found like chicks, piglets, lamb….

Big barrel of grass for feeding the animals. Javier was happily self happy himself to it for feeding the lamb.

A very cute chicken with fluffy feathers.

And a super fat big.

These lambs are so adorable and it’s no wonder Javier couldn’t stop admiring and feeding them.

We bumped into a few families from our hometown, and this nice picture was taken by one. Open-mouthed smile

A fire was setup to boil the Billy Tea and to cook the damper.

Well, before the show, let’s have some photo session.

Personally I think this picture is incredible!!!! The father and son look so alike. Hah…..

We got a chance to experience a traditional Australian Billy Tea making and sample authentic home make damper.

Perhaps I was hungry at this moment, I actually feel that the damper taste wonderful and the bland tea taste delicious.

Next, we witness the amazing horse skills of the stockman in the spectacular stock horse demonstration.

The stuffs that truly got my boys’ attention is the one coming up next…..

Sheep Dog roundup where we got to see how the sheep showcase the skills used everyday on Australian farms to muster sheep.

The stockman handshaking and high five with the sheep dog.

The star of the show taking a rest.

D having a a go on milk cowing as the 2 boys refused to give it a try.

Taking a picture with the beautiful horsewoman.

The last show of the day is the sheep shearing show where the shearer shows the skill that have been passed down through generations of Australian farming families.

Lastly, we have our barbeque lunch before we bid goodbye to Paradise country farm.

Since it’s still early when we left the farmyard, we decided to hop over to the nearby Movie World to continue our exploring which we have missed during our last trip. Open-mouthed smile
