Short Getaway to Desaru – Day 2

We went for our simple traditional buffet at the coffee house before we start our day.

The variety of the buffet is not very wide, but the food was quite ok. And I managed to stuff enough food to last me till afternoon. :D

We proceed to the beach for some sand digging and water dipping after our breakfast. sand01  One boy was busy digging for shells, and one was busy with making sand castle.

Until they decided to take a dip in the sea water. It was quite relaxing just standing and letting the wave brush against our feet.
Javier would become very excited when he see vehicles now. Upon spotting this, he kept asking me whether he could ride on it. So to in order not to disappoint him, we let him sit on it and took some pictures before we left for the pool.

The boys certainly feels that they should be making use of all the time here to play instead of resting. After the beach, they were exclaiming to go to the water park again. ball01

I think that Javier had a fun time throwing the ball into water and picking it up again.
The falling coconut (water). My boys have phobia on the huge gush of water falling from the coconut. Thus they would keep out of this area at all time. :P

We decided to have our dinner at Sungei Rengit again. This time we chose You Kees Restaurant. It was just next to the restaurant we had our dinner yesterday. And wow… the food is even more super yummy than the one we had yesterday!!!!! And it was so much cheaper than the yesterday meal also. All of this just cost RM105.

Since it is still early, we stop by at the nearby beach to watch some fishing activity going on. The boys spotted 2 cute kitten and started to play it them.
Very cute and friendly kitten.
The kittens following the boys.

Jayden was so happy when the kitten licked his fingers and he told me “Mummy, the kitten like me!”
After we went back to the hotel, the boys were still feeling energetic, thus we decided to bring them to the beach for a walk to use up their energy.
Javier saw this trishaw and decided to have a feel sitting on it.

They were busy digging the sand…… Making sand animals again…….
So me and D sat the Rhu Bar to have a relax moment  sipping our drinks.

Until Javier decided to join in and act some noises to our quiet moment. :P

We had a long day today, but my boys wasn’t tired at all….!!!!! It was only after much urging from me that they finally sleep at 11plus.

We had an enjoyable time here! It was great to have a quick recharge for all of us!!!! :D
