烩饭

I cooked a simple dinner of 烩饭 for D and myself, while the boys requested for Macroroni Soup for dinner.

It is really easy to prepare and cooked, all I need is 30 mins from preparation to serve. :D

Ingredients:
1 Large Fried Fish cake, cut into slices
Chicken Slices
Fish Slices
1 Bunch of Choy Sum
1 medium Onion, cut into wedge
3 Cloves Garlic, finely chopped
2 Eggs
2 Rice Bowl of Cooked Rice
100 ml Water
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch Solution (cornstarch mixed with water)

* Marinate Chicken slices with light soya sauce, pepper and cornstarch.
* Marinate fish slices with light soya sauce, pepper and sesame oil.

Directions:
1.Heat oil, add in minced garlic, onion and saute till fragrant, add in the marinated chicken slices and fish slices
2. Give it a quick stir for till it slightly changed colour, add in the choy sum and stir-fry for another 5 seconds.
6. Next add in the fish cake slices and give it another quick stir before add in the water.
7. When the water comes to boil again, crack in the eggs, gently give it a few stir to separate the egg then stir it the cornstarch water to thicken the sauce.
8. Off the heat, season it with some light soya sauce and pepper.
9. Finally, pour the entire gravy on top of the rice. It needs to be intentionally eaten wet!
