During February, we did a homeschooling theme on Valentine and the same time learning V. I got most of my pintables here.

Our valentine poem which Javier has no interest at all.

Learning Letter V:
1. The dot dot V for Valentine. Javier loves doing dotting, this is one of the worksheet that he would look forward in our home activities.

2. Letter V collage using cut out heart shape

1. Line tracing

2. Drawing vertical and horizontal line and adding flower using dot marker

3. Happy Valentine’s Day Card

We did a valentine crown. Things needed are:
1. Heart shape hole puncher
2. Construction paper
3. Paper plate
4. Scissor / Glue

Gluing the heart shape on the cutted paper plate.

Science Experiment:
We did a very simple experiment of volcano erupting.
Things needed for this experiment are:
1. Vinegar
2. Baking Soda
3. Colouring (optional)
4. A small bottle
5. A tray

Method:
1. Put the small bottle on the tray to hold the erupting “lava”
2. Pour the vinegar into the small bottle (half bottle should be enough for one eruption)
3. Add in the colouring (for nicer effect)
4. Add in 1 tablespoon of baking soda to the vinegar
5. Boom… explosion ******

Books we Read:

Love you forever by Robert Munschlove you foreverI don’t know if it is just me… but I find this book–Love You Forever a little creepy. Would a mother really go in the middle of the night and cuddle her 30 year old son while he sleeps and sing to him the way she did when he was two months old???? Although the ending of this story is really touching, but I did not like this book one bit and only read once to the boys.
