Aussie Trip–Day 07

The boys woke up bright and early, mainly because they were looking forward to animal feeding and egg picking. Thus when we got ready and reached there, it was still early! ^^ So we walked around taking some pictures while we wait.

Some of the activities that we did here were collect eggs, feed the baby animals, milk a cow, pony riding and last but not least going for a tractor ride around the farm.

With  my in-laws

The animal feeding start, and the boys knew the routine well enough today. They will just tagged along farmer Doug who will bring them along to the various location to feed the animals.

Well, the usual feeding… the boys doesn’t seem to get bored doing it. ^^ Instead they enjoyed it a lot!!!!

After seeing D demonstrated yesterday, little  boy volunteer to spray water into the bowl for the chickens today. ^^

Collecting eggs, the boys were so happy to collect the eggs that they came running to show us when they came out of the coop.

We saw some wallabies but they started to hop after as we went closer to them.

We went to milk the cow, but the boys refused to do it. So ended up it was D who volunteer again.

A new experience for Jayden. Before Jayden has a chance to refuse, farmer Doug had already carried him and put him on the cow. ^^

Our day was pretty lined up with various activities today. After the animal feeding, we took a short break before proceeding to pony riding for the boys.

Little one doesn’t feel like riding so that’s only Gor-gor riding the pony.

He was feeling pretty excited riding on the pony.

Thus while Jayden was off riding, I just went around the farm snapping pictures of the beautiful scenery. But the hot hot sun was abit unbearable for me.

Finally Jayden was back, and we proceeded back to our Cabin for a short break and away from the Sun.

Little one was feeling hungry and decided to self help himself to the bread and peanut butter.

This is the Eco Cabin which which we are staying, it is away from the main homestead which give us the privacy and peacefulness. And it is only a short drive to reach the main homestead. There’s even a swing out there, but we did not make use of it. From here, we can see the fantastic views of Mt Barney, Mt Maroon and more of the Scenic Rim.

We drove to the nearby park to explore.

After our lunch , it was time for a RIDE!!!!! Guess What????

The Tractor.

I guess I am more excited than the boys. ^^

Couldn’t wait to get on the tractor.

A cow charging at us. Nah…… ^^ it was just looking at us curiously. :D

The cows on the field gazing grass.

I like this cow with its silky golden brownish fur. The whole time when I was snapping pictures of him, he was doing a lot of actions for me to snap. ^^ was it concidence????

Jumping is what they are best at. They love to jump on the trampoline day in and day out whenever they pass by it.

The weather was still unbearable hot when we came back from our ride.

After walking around the farm, we found this maze. But we did not attempt to walk it as we were feeling tired and hot. Thus we prefer to drive back to our cabin for a rest instead.

These are some of the eggs that we collect from these 2 days. ^^ Time to enjoy the eggs!!! That’s all for now. Bye!!!!
