Thailand Day 2 - Night Activities

Jeck Be-Ak Restaurant

----------------------------------------------------------

The restaurant is located at intersection between Dechanuchit Road and Naeb-Khehars Road, just across Hua Hin night market and opposite 7-11. It is definitely a gem at Hua Hin and and it was indeed a delicious and filling meal we had there. Even the kids gives the thumbs up. They love it so much that we went back there for dinner on our last night in Hua Hin.

These are two separate business operating in the same premises: Som Moo Joom opens from 6am to 2pm while Jeck Be-Ak starts operating from 530pm tlll 7.30pm. If you want to try out the food which I had shared below, do go there during the evening.

Beside tourists coming here for meal, it is quite popular among the local too. And the queue can get relatively long if you get there too late. Thus we reached there quite early at 6.00pm. And though early, we still needed to wait for 15 minutes for a table. The staffs there speaks simple English and the menu is bilingual – Thai and English hence ordering was not a problem for us.

Our dinner. Food is really good and cheap too. All these for Singapore 20plus dollars.

A must order is this Soup Sukiyaki (Mixed Seafood and Pork Set), Beside this combo, there is also seafood set or Pork set.

Javier’s favorite dish – Fried Pork stripe

Steamed Glass Noodles with Crabs which Hubby and Jayden wiped it out clean. The taste was really superb.

Crispy omelette

And lastly this satay. Well, I still prefer Singapore version Satay. ^^

It is such a well know restaurant among local, that most taxi or tutu driver would know this place when you tell them so. A highly recommended place to dine there when in Hua Hin.

Hua Hin Night Market

-------------------------------------------------------------

After our dinner, we took a short stroll toThe Hua Hin Night Market. It is opened every night from 5pm, offer a variety of merchandise from souvenirs, clothing, fashion accessories as well as food stalls selling seafood, snacks and desserts. It wasn’t too crowded when we were there.

Guys are more interested in GUNS.

Spotted a very pretty stall vendor. ^^

Saw this mini crispy pancake and I got to have it. But sadly, it doesn’t taste as good as the one I had at Palerwarn.

This is a popular prata stall in this night market. Though we were quite full, we decided to buy 1 to share among us.

It tasted so GOOD!!!!!!
