Our main focus for today trip is Elephants, reason being that Javier likes elephants. He has been saying he wants to see the elephants a couple of times when we brought him to the zoo. However for our last few visits, we did not manage to see the elephants as the elephant section was closed due to some work going on. Finally today we managed to bring the boys to see the elephants!
When we reach the zoo, Jayden dashes to the pond and looked at these “elephants”. Javier was unable to do so, because he is sitting in the stroller. :) Javier looking intently at the fishes in the pond. He loves fish like his gorgor, just that Jayden likes to eat fish too, whereas Javier hates to eat fish. :( After walking for some distance, we reached our destination “Elephants of Asia”, and we will just in time for the elephants show. Since we still have 10mins before the show starts, and my boys were curious when they saw a staircase at this little attap house. Upon they got the "ok" sign from us, they immediately started to climb the stairs to the 2nd floor of the attap house. Of course, Javier follows his gorgor wherever he goes. However, halfway up up the stairs, he getting abit of cold feet and waited for me to lead him up. :(The first thing that caught their attention when they reached the 2nd floor is this photo taking stand. Jayden keep asking me to take pictures of him. Initially Jayden refused to come down so Javier waited quite a while before he got a chance to stand there for me to take pictures of him. The Baby African Elephant, much smaller in size. The Asian Elephant
Javier was not tall enough to reach the “elephant face”. Thus Jayden was trying his best to push him up and holding him for me to take a picture. They looked so comical when both of them were struggling (One of them keep pushing, one keep leaping) to reach the “elephant face”. Finally after a few tries, Jayden managed to hold Javier up!!!! :) When we reached the elephant show theatre. It was already very packed. So we only managed to grab this un-shaded place to watch the show. It was so so so scorching hot!!!!!! We were dripping with sweat. Before the show begins, Jayden enjoying on of his favourite fruit – apples!
The shows begins… 4 huge elephants make their appearance. Both my boys were so engrossed in the show. Javier keep saying “ elephants swimming in the water” The elephant balancing on the log. Although the elephant is huge and looks kinda clumsy… but they can balance very very well. The elephants bowing to the audience.Javier giving his full attention while watching the show.
We did not stay to finish the whole show, as Jayden was exclaiming hot hot hot.. and I must say it is quite unbearable to watch the show under such hot weather. We left when it is time for the audience interaction time with the elephants. So at least we watch the “whole” elephant show, and we just miss the game activity. Javier was already aiming for this kiddy ride when we passed by earlier on, but as he was strap to the stroller so he can’t dashed to it. But now that he is free, (gorgor sitting in the stroller now), nothing can stopped him.
Javier loves animals…. and one of them is sea lion. When he saw his favourite animals, of course he has to run up to it and give it a hug!!!!So we went for our lunch and was thinking of bringing the boys to watched the “Pets Animals Show”… but but but we missed it again. Arrrg… next time!!!!
We end our trip after seeing some crocodiles! By the time we left the zoo, it was already 2.30pm. We spent 4hrs in the zoo!! No wonder I was so tired, that I took my rare afternoon nap today. :)
we went to see the pet animal show, but nothing much..
