Messy Baby!!!

Learning to self feed can be really messy, but it is an unavoidable phase.. Now Javier is going through the learning to self feed stage. Whenever he try to feed himself, you would find a big mess on the floor, the high chair. If I don't give him the spoon, he will scream and make a fuss. Haiz...

Sometime when we dine outside, when he make a mess hor, I would feel pity for the aunty or uncle who are going to clean up the mess leh. It is really really very messy, food all over the floor, spoon and fork also on the floor.

Baking Chocolate Sponge Cupcake

My SIL gave me a really simple receipe to bake the chocolate sponge cake. So i just gotta to try it out today.

Receipe for Chocolate Sponge cupcake (makes about 12 cupcake)
250gm of optima flour
4 eggs
50ml of water
vanilla essense 1 and 1/2 teaspoon
1 tablespoon of ovalette
60ml of oil (can be replace with butter)

Method:
Pre-heat the oven at 180 degree
Mix all ingredients togather except the oil and beat for 8-12mins
After that add in the oil and beat for 1 mins
Pour the mixture in the cupcake case
Bake for 30mins




I only bake half the receipe which give me 6 cupcakes, cos not sure how it would turn out. It taste quite ok, but i would prefer it to be sweeter

Javier like the sponge cake very much, he eat almost 2 cupcake himself , after that he still ask for more

I am glad that they like the sponge cake i make. I like to try new things for my family to try. Next week, I will be baking cornflake cookies, cos Jayden simply love it when i baked for him a few months ago. He can eat over 10pcs at one go. :)

A mini Picnic at Sembawang Park

Time for splashing and digging..... Today we headed off to sembawang park in the late morning. It started to rain when we are on our way there. But but but.. it stop when we are about to reach the park.. Hiang arh..

Both of the boys enjoyed the water, sand and the food we bought there... hehe...

Fabric Craft Materials @ Chinatown

Today I went to Chinatown to get some fabric for my upcoming crafts. Thanks to Liling, who told me about this wonderful place that sell so many many nice fabric and other materials. It has so many nice design, that I don't know which one to choose, so finally I choose based on what my kids like, at least most of the design are what my kids like...

Some of the design is mummy like it lah, like the flowers design, just cannot stop myself from buying it. Actually there are still so much other design which I like.

Xmas Light up @ Orchard

HO HO HO... It's Xmas time!!! With all the lights up, it is indeed a splendid view at Orchard.. No wonder my boys are fascinated and excited.

This year the theme for the orchard Road lights up is blue and red.

We reach home at around 11plus. But my boys are not tired at all, still playing and screaming around the house.. Until i chased them to sleep at around 12, they were still abit relunctant to go sleep.

Dim Sum Lunch @ Peach Garden Restaurant

It has been sometime since we last have meal togather with my hubby family. Today we went to the Peach Garden Resturant at Thomsom Plaza to have dim sum... The dim sum was nice and look really attractive. My 2 boys was not really keen in it lah... Jayden only like to eat the peking duck dish.

Throughout our meal, Javier keep asking my FIL to bring him go outside walk walk, which in fact is that he ask my FIL to buy sweets for him. You can see from the picture where both of them happily enjoying their 麦芽糖. It was really sweet, thus I did not let the finish whole thing..

School Holiday

School holiday is here..... normally during school holiday, my mother will bring my niece to my place. Today my place is rather rowdy due to the 4 kids. My 2 boys are very excited to see them here as the girls seldom come to our place. It was quite sometime since they last come.

Felt Cloth Teddy Bear

This Felt cloth Teddy bear is a special request from my niece Glenda... She wanted a pink teddy bear. But i feel that it look a bit funny, mayb it is due to the shape of the head, it is not round enough...

Yesterday when i was cutting the cloth and the round shape for the mouth.. Me and Jayden have a conversation as below:

Jayden say "oh, mummy you making a pig huh!!!
I say" No lah, it is not a pig! i am making a pink teddy bear for glenda"
Jayden say" I also want a colourful teddy bear, the pink is also very nice"
I say" Ok, i will make one colourful one for you"

Dont' know why Jayden like pink, he like sweet sweet colour like purple, pink... I told him those colour is for girl, but he just don't understand.

This morning I show them the bear i made yesteday nite, Phew, both of them managed to recognise it and told me it is a bear.. luckily they did not say it is a pig. If not how can i give it to glenda.. cos she want a bear not a pig mah... haha...

These few days, i have been staying up till very late at around 1am plus to do all this craft. But i really enjoying doing it, don't feel tired at all.

Baking Butter Nutella Cake

Saw this yummy receipe for a Butter Nutella Cake.. So i was thinking of baking it for my kids to eat. But as it turn out, it wasn't so nice... I still prefer my old recipe for the butter cake. Mayb it might be some steps which I did not do correctly. My hubby told me it taste like '发糕', whereas my boys only like the top layer of chocolate coating and the M&M chocolates.

Fabric Craft

I am really motivated by my kids when they seems to be so interested in the craft i make for them.. Esp Javier, he keep taking it out and play with it and telling me what it is. I am going to start a new craft porject, this time using fabric instead of felt cloth..These are the cloth which i bought yesterday.

Felt Cloth Craft II

These are the felt craft which i have make for the last 2 days. Doing Craft can be really addictive... I stay up until 2am in the morning to finsh some of it.. Just cannot stop doing... I am really glad my boys like it alot.. They are able to tell me what is it after i show them.
